Continental Palace

We are currently staying at Continental Palace and leave tomorrow after a wonderful experience. The hotel has exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly at reception, which immediately made us feel welcome and set the tone for our stay. The hotel has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, and all staff are friendly, welcoming, and hardworking. Our refurbished room is spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with excellent facilities. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice, and the location is perfect for the beach and surrounding area. A small suggestion would be to add a drying rack or hooks on the balcony for swimwear and towels after a day on the beach. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Continental Palace to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Thank you to the whole team for making it so special!

Been here every year now since 2022 , most recently the hotel has gone through some upgrades. My room this year has been lush , really comfy bed great shower and also totally new but needed kettle in the room. Most evenings some singers or Greek dancers are on or you can pop into town for around 7 euro or take a nice stroll. This place feels like home to me I hope you feel this way too. Ps all the same staff year on year who do anything to help you. Enjoy .

We have recently returned from a 7-night stay at the Continental Palace and had a wonderful time overall. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome at reception, and check-in was both fast and efficient. We stayed in the newly refurbished wing of the hotel, and our room was beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with atmospheric lighting throughout. The bathroom was particularly impressive and finished to a very high standard. The hotel is in an excellent location. The beach is just a two-minute walk from reception, with a handful of lovely bars and restaurants nearby. The beach directly opposite the hotel is quite small; however, another two-minute walk brings you to several larger beaches, most offering sun loungers ranging from around €6 per day to considerably more. Kos Town is approximately a 20-minute walk away along the seafront, with a pedestrian pathway (watch out for the trees!) and a dedicated cycle path that can be very busy at times. Bicycles are everywhere—I think there may even be more than in Amsterdam! Bike hire was very reasonably priced at €5 per day (10am–6pm) or €25 per week at the time of our visit. E-scooters were also very popular, although we didn't use them ourselves, so I can't comment further. Overall, we found the hotel's location to be ideal. A few minor downsides: The pool area and grounds are very attractive; however, we spoke to a number of people using the pool and sun loungers who were not hotel guests, including local residents. This meant that loungers were often occupied, which, in my opinion, should be reserved for paying guests. There also weren't enough padded mattress toppers for all the loungers, and those that were available were sometimes a little grubby. The resort tax came to €70, which was slightly higher than we expected for a 3-star hotel. We were also charged €25 for the use of a safety deposit box, which felt somewhat overpriced, especially as the safe itself was portable and not secured as you might expect. There was always plenty of choice in the dining hall, with a good variety of food available. However, we found the music selection somewhat unusual and not particularly relaxing. At times, it felt as though we were dining in an old 1970s American crime TV series! The atmosphere seemed more geared towards encouraging guests to eat quickly rather than relax and enjoy their meal. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Despite a few minor niggles, I would happily recommend the Continental Palace to anyone looking for a hotel with plenty to offer.

Very disappointing experience. The Wi-Fi connection in the rooms was extremely poor and unreliable. The rooms themselves were outdated and not up to the standard you would expect. Cleanliness was also a major issue, as the rooms were not properly cleaned. What made the stay even worse was the staff, who were very unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our visit. This hotel definitely does not deserve its 4-star rating. I would not recommend staying here.

Just back from another lovely stay at this hotel. This is our 5th year. We were lucky to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms which are fab. The rooms are always super clean. The staff are so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food cant fault it loads of variety. The grounds are so well cared for. Great location for us as its just a 20mins walk into kos town is lovely. Waiting for next year's dates to be released.
