Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites

First of all,...All the staff at this hotel are the friendliest we have come across on our travels and a huge credit to the hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy, food is good as are the cocktails. Rooms are bright and cleaned everyday with amazing views. We have enjoyed the entertainment every night and has a great atmosphere. The pool areas are clean and the sunbeds are so comfy. Hotel is located on beach which has sunbeds free of charge. Hotel has a bus stop outside which is great if you are heading into Kos town €4 return per person. Hotel is great value for money.... Special mentions to George at reception for making us feel welcome and making sure we got fed and watered after a late night arrival and of course George the best service manager who will always find you a table and teach you a little greek along the way. Make sure you look out for the cats. Thank you all for a fabulous week

Fabulous hotel and amazing staff. Extremely considerate and attentive staff and all very friendly and smiling all the time. Went the extra mile and would anticipate your needs without having to ask. Special mention to John in the Thalassa restaurant who got me some pool towels after remembering earlier that I was looking for some, Mark in the main bar who made me honey & lemon hot drink as he could hear I had a bad throat and Adina bar waitress who would bring drinks without us needing to order and worked so hard with a constant huge smile on her face! Such attention and helpfulness. Great assortment of food. Excellent nightly entertainment. Room was spacious, very clean and great amenities. Only thing was could do with more hangers and hooks to hang towels and clothes.

Stayed here at the start of September and truly cannot fault it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and attentive. Despite arriving slightly early, we checked in without issue and were welcomed with a drink before being driven to our accommodation in a golf cart. Our beachfront bungalow was clean, tidy, and equipped with perfectly functioning air conditioning. Housekeeping refreshed our towels and bedding daily. The bungalow featured a private patio with two loungers, sitting just a 30-second walk from the beach. The beach had ample sun loungers available every day. Be sure to bring a snorkel mask, as there is a fantastic reef packed with marine life right off the shore. While beachside drink service was occasionally hit-and-miss, the bar was only a two-minute walk away. We spent most of our time around the main pool by the Cucina Bar. Even arriving after 9:00 AM, we never struggled to find open sun loungers. Service here was also slightly inconsistent, but the bar was steps away. On our final morning, we visited the pool near Thalasa Restaurant—a sleek, modern area featuring marble tiling and a bubble tub. The dining was excellent throughout: Cucina Restaurant: Guests receive one complimentary meal at this à la carte venue during their stay. Both the food and service were faultless. (Image attached) Flavours Restaurant: Our primary dining spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was consistently great, with the Gala Evening being a clear highlight. Evening entertainment took place at the Veranda Main Bar from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM. It fills up quickly, so arriving by 8:30 PM is recommended to secure a good seat. All cocktails were made fresh; though menu names differed slightly from standard UK drinks, the quality was great. One thing we wouldn’t do again is the hotel booked taxi to Kos it was €20 for the 2 of us each way, speaking to a few other guests they got the local bus which was €2.50 each way or got a taxi which was about €15. Finally, we opted for a late checkout at €90, allowing us to keep our room until 6:00 PM. Even though our transfer was at 4:30 PM, having the room for the day allowed us to relax by the pool and shower comfortably before departing. Highly recommended!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming. The rooms are incredible and the food is amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Heard a group complaining of homophobia earlier after they were told a complaint had been made against the man wearing a thong, but as a gay couple visiting the hotel, nothing could be further from the truth! The staff are anything but homophobic and I can honestly say this is one of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in!
