Gaia Garden

Came to Gaia Garden for the 3rd time Sept/Oct 2026. Brilliant week. Home from home. Staff are so lovely & welcoming and we've made lots of friends. Hence why we have returned. Staff work very hard. Love it here that we've booked again for next year. 🥰

We booked our holiday through our usual local travel agents who we have absolutely 100% confidence in so we were completely taken by surprised to find our room requirements were not met or the request to be near our friends who we regularly travel with fair play to the management they resolved the issues swiftly the next morning relocating us to our satisfaction. The hotel is immaculate so are the grounds and the staff are first class as are the cleaners the bar staff hardly keep you waiting even in busy periods. The food can be a tad repetitive and could do with being a bit warmer but the guys cooking freshly are top dollar. There is a decent walk into town and plenty of bars nearby and a couple of supermarkets ideal location if you just want to relax by the pool more for the mature travellers although it is child friendly.

we booked this hotel because of the reviews check in was straight forward 14 euro local tax room allocation good, the couple travelling with us were not so lucky as given an older room that has not as yet been refurbished with a bath they had requested as walking in shower as disabled however it was resolved quickly the next day we found the food very repetitive often luke warm and sometimes cold . The A.I. drinks menu after trying many of them we found not to our taste the only way to get a decent beer was to buy bottles of Mythos at 4 euros a pop . The worst was to come day 3 my partner went down with sickness and diarrhea after a day and half she improved enough to leave the room then day 6 I succumbed to the same fate. People reading this might think just another moaner however we are both well travelled over the last 30 years and staying in 2 star to 5star hotels on all board basis all around Europe including many of the Greek Islands so suprisingly we wont be returning

Mini break with adult daughter. The common areas, pool etc are very nice, with good quality sunbeds and other seating. The room (bungalow) was ok, although I wasnt expecting a bath with shower over, which caused me some issues due to limited mobility. Beds are comfortable and the daily cleaning is very good. Cooler October evenings mean that TV would be a nice option but the only English channel is the news. The hotel is evidently aimed at a German audience,so that explains why most channels are in German. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was disappointing; buffet style and the 'hot' food inevitably cold. We resorted to using the microwave to heat it to an acceptable temperature. We ate breakfast there but ate out for other meals. The free drinks limitations didn't bother us ,as we're not big drinkers, but others might find it an issue.

We have just returned from our umpteenth time at this lovely friendly hotel the staff as usual are all brilliant we even got a certificate of honorary Greek Citizenship for coming to Kos for 30 years I highly recommend this lovely family friendly style hotel the manager Matina will look after be it first time or 10th time see you again next year John and Shirley Hipkiss
