Grecotel LUXME Kos

We’ve just spent 10 days here and had great holiday. The first week we were there was half term so it was very busy and we struggled to get into the à la carte restaurants as they were all showing a fully booked on the app for the duration of our stay. This wasn’t the best start (hence 4 stars rather than 5), however with the help of guest services and our travel agent we managed to get some reservations. Apart from that, everything else was brilliant. The main areas of the hotel are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our room was a bit dated but it was very clean, so not a problem. I loved the range of exercise classes and would definitely recommend the 7am yoga class- you can’t beat starting the day with yoga while looking out onto the Agean! My son and husband loved the daily water polo - which got rather competitive at times! The food on the whole was great - the only disappointing meal was at the Italian. We absolutely loved the Greek and Asian restaurants though and the main buffet was also good. A big shout out to the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. In particular, I’d like to thank Lydia who arranged a trip to Zia for us (a must-do in my opinion - the sunset is incredible and she booked us into a fantastic restaurant). Lydia also regularly messaged to see how we’re were and always recognised me and said hello when she saw us - with so many guests to look after, little things like that make a difference and are appreciated. All-in-all it’s a fabulous hotel and we’d definitely go back. Be prepared though, if you go during a peak school holiday week it will be busy and you will need to get up early to secure sun beds . Our second week was much quieter and the whole atmosphere felt more relaxed.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are its greatest strength. You could not ask for more attentive , nicer people . We were there for the wedding of our friends and it was beautiful organised . We had the most wonderful time . All the facilities are excellent, beautiful pools and beach . Super WiFi. The only thing we would change is the un necessary long use of technology when checking in . Just going to the desk like in the old days would be much simpler. Otherwise : a wonderful relaxing break with everything you could possibly need .

My boyfriend and I stayed at Grecotel LuxMe Kos from the 15th to the 22nd of May on the All-Inclusive Plus package, and we had an amazing experience. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Manos and Lliana at reception, Ginnias at the pool bar, and Ernesto, Stamatina, and Konstantina in the main restaurant. Their positive energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness made our holiday even more special and made us feel truly at home. The food was outstanding, especially in the à la carte restaurants, which were a definite 10/10. The drinks, crepes, and ice cream throughout the resort were also excellent and exceeded our expectations. The only minor downside was that some of the activity areas felt a little dated, and we would have loved to see a wider variety of activities available during our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and honestly couldn't fault the resort. We would definitely love to return in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We had such an incredible time at the hotel, it was perfect for our family of 4. The food and drinks were fantastic and there was always something to do. We didn’t leave for the whole week. The room was great and the staff were all amazing! Mamos in particular went above and beyond for us.

We spent 10 days at Grecotel LUXME Kos as a family of four with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old for May half term. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful, with some real highlights, but there were also a few disappointing issues that affected our stay. Pros: The resort is genuinely stunning — everywhere you look is picturesque and well maintained. For the most part, drinks service around the pool was excellent, with Bernadette particularly standing out for her friendliness and attentiveness. The food across the resort was consistently delicious, especially at the Italian and Asian à la carte restaurants. We also had a positive experience when dining at both the Italian and Greek restaurants, where staff kindly managed to seat us an hour earlier than our reservation when we asked, which we really appreciated. The staff overall were very friendly and worked hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. There was a good variety of evening entertainment, and the kids’ disco was a real highlight for our children. We also requested a few baby items in advance, and these were provided in the room as asked. Cons: Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We requested an iron three times and eventually received an offer of one at 9pm, which the phone call woke our children up. The sunbed situation was particularly frustrating. If you wanted an umbrella, you needed to reserve sunbeds extremely early (before 6am for the kids’ pool and before 7am for the main pool). This policy wasn’t stated online, and we had understood that reservations weren’t allowed. It was disappointing to feel pressured to get up so early on holiday just to secure a place, only to see many beds remain unused for long periods during the day. When we asked the pool manager, we were told that items left on beds effectively reserved them for the day. The rooms also felt quite tired and in need of updating, and housekeeping was inconsistent at times — for example, used coffee cups were occasionally not replaced. We also had issues with the restaurant booking system on the app, which didn’t work for us. As a result, by the time we arrived, the only available dining slots were very early or very late. A more serious concern involved the Grecoland kids’ club. When we collected our daughter, there was one staff member supervising seven children. He needed to briefly return two children to their parents and asked us to watch the remaining four children for around five minutes. We felt this was a significant safeguarding concern and reported it to the hotel, but unfortunately there didn’t seem to be any follow-up or acknowledgment. As a result, we did not feel comfortable sending our daughter back. Summary: A beautiful resort with excellent food, friendly staff, and great entertainment, but several operational and consistency issues that unfortunately impacted our overall experience, particularly around sunbeds, room upkeep, and childcare safety.
