TUI BLUE Palazzo del Mare

We have just returned back from one week in the Palazzo Del Mare, and it was beautiful. All of the staff, from catering and bar staff to housekeeping and grounds, work so hard and are so friendly. The hotel and gardens are kept immaculate. We had a swim up room with a terrace, and the smell from the jasmine hedge was the loveliest thing. We asked for a room in 200+ as we’d heard that they receive sun all day long. We were in the perfect location and close to the pool bar so had their background music all day too, which was nice. The pool is the biggest we've ever seen, a good depth all around, and never busy. There are also plenty of sun beds for everyone, even if you haven't got a swim-up room. The food was generous and the entertainment was good, however, I understand that it is the same programme each week so if you’re staying for more than 7 days I think you’ll see the same act twice. My only reservation was the open bathroom in the room – I wasn’t keen on this and the lack of privacy, but the room had everything else we needed. People have commented about the bar manager being really friendly, but we wouldn’t know. He didn’t even acknowledge us let along speak – so obviously our face didn’t fit!

Firstly…. Tui were fantastic with my assisted travel needs from booking to returning home. Smooth check in (wonderful front of house Manager Mrs Sevi👍) at reception and buggy to an upgrade swim up room was the beginning of the best week in any hotel I’ve had! Grounds stunning, beautiful mountains, landscaping fantastic with individual front gardens, scent of Jasmin on terrace whilst lying on lounger by ladder to pool 💕. Maids efficient and so friendly, rooms are spotless and comfortable. Entertainment was brilliant (I loved the Opera night), food is gorgeous and the staff are all professional yet as if one happy family. The Culinarium is a must book as a very special culinary delight. Wonderful Spa and had amazing full body Swedish massage and facial rehydration treatment which was just Heaven! Pool is cold but so refreshing each day, short walk to a gorgeous beach with lapping sea, sand underfoot and a beautiful Mountain View. Daily activities of Aqua exercise and Pilates were made special by the lovely Sophie …So much fun.. Miss you Sophie! Overwhelmed on birthday as special table decorated for me and waiters gathered to sing with cake. Thanks Mohammed. I could go on and on … we are hoping to go back end of this season which says it all! Thanks to all the great staff at Palazzo Del Mare

This was our 3rd time at this hotel,we’ve just booked our 4th time next year. Yet again we had an excellent time.Walking round the hotel and staff remembering you and taking time to hug and talk mend a lot. Kalli,Erika and Demetrius(sorry about spelling)you were amazing! Ricky was none stop work and his manners were outstanding. Ellias in the restaurant always made a fuss of us and Irene was always there with a smile and a hug just what you need after a night at the bar!! And we had 14 nights!!! The entertainment was excellent when they had singing but the Greek dancing was ok and the guests made there statement by not going. There was only 6 watching and to be honest I wouldn’t pay to watch it. The rock duet as always SUPERB! 3 tenor’s brilliant, 3 ladies brilliant and the belly dancing good We had a swim up room on the 200’s side. You don’t get the sun til 11 but then you get it til 7. Everything was clean,everywhere you looked someone was mopping or polishing. Very clean hotel. Food was excellent they will cater for every one. The pool,it’s massive but cold,I liked it,because after baking in the sun it was a must to jump in! Be careful though it’s not deep at all A VERY VERY CLASSY PLACE FULL OF FANTASTIC STAFF Hope you are all there next year

We’ve just returned from a 14‑day honeymoon at Palazzo del Mare, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made us feel instantly at home. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully designed, spotless throughout, and surrounded by perfectly kept gardens that create a sense of calm everywhere you walk. A huge part of what made our stay so special were the people. Labrinos, the bar manager, is an unforgettable character — fun, spirited, genuinely hilarious, and someone who had us laughing every single day. He made us feel like family from day one. The restaurant team were equally brilliant: Muhammad, Ndricim, and Dimitris looked after us so warmly at breakfast and dinner, with Dimitris even teaching us useful Greek phrases in our first few days. At lunch, Gabimira took wonderful care of us and was always a pleasure to see. We stayed in an executive suite with a private pool, which felt like our own peaceful sanctuary that was luxurious, quiet, and perfect for slow honeymoon mornings. From what we could see the swim‑up rooms also looked lovely. The hotel’s main swimming pools are beautiful too: large, elegant, and incredibly refreshing (admittedly cold at first, but perfect once you’re in). We chose full board plus and were genuinely impressed by the food. The variety and quality were consistently excellent. Lunch at the Culinarium was a more formal experience, with generous four‑course portions, ideal for big appetites, though sometimes almost too much. Thea’s Café was charming as well, but with so much food included, it felt a little surplus; it would be wonderful if guests could swap a lunch for a visit to Thea’s instead. Evenings offered a lovely range of entertainment outdoors, singers, DJs, musicians, dancers, and although it got chilly at times, the staff appeared with warm blankets, a thoughtful touch that made the nights feel cosy rather than cold. The location is peaceful and quiet, with effortless access to a private stretch of beach where the sunsets are breathtaking. We also visited Zia village, which is absolutely worth the trip for its stunning views. The only small niggle for us was the air‑conditioning, which has a minimum setting of 20°C — just a touch warm at night — but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Palazzo del Mare gave us the romantic, serene, and joy‑filled honeymoon we hoped for, and we will treasure the memories forever. Highly recommended for couples seeking luxury, tranquillity, and exceptional service.

This was mine and my partner’s first TUI Blue package holiday and we had an amazing time, so much so I had to write a review. We had a late flight and arrived in the early hours of the morning to check in, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a superior swim-up room, which was such a nice surprise. When we got to the room, the staff had kindly left us a selection of cold meats and cheeses knowing we had arrived so late, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and it had a huge, comfortable bed which we both slept brilliantly in throughout the holiday. The highlight of the room was definitely the two private sun loungers and the direct access to the main pool from our room, which was fantastic! The pool was a little cold, but really refreshing once you got in. Plus having the beach so close with a quick walk over a very quiet road was so handy, we saw some great sunsets. The food was another standout win for us, there was a huge selection and the quality was outstanding, probably the best food we’ve ever had at a package hotel. The evening entertainment was fairly low key but enjoyable most nights. Most importantly, all of the TUI blue staff were very friendly, always saying good morning and happy to help with anything. Overall, this has been one of the best holidays we’ve ever been on, and we will absolutely look to return one day. As we enjoyed this one some much we have already booked another TUI Blue package holiday for September! 😅
