There was a lot to like about our holiday at Niriides. The pools, the friendly staff and the entertainment all helped create a sociable atmosphere, and we enjoyed having things going on without needing to organise every part of the day ourselves. The choice of pool areas is useful, and the daytime activities give you something to join in with when you fancy it. The evening programme adds to the holiday feeling too, with entertainment such as Greek nights, singers and the silent disco. It’s the sort of setting where you can enjoy the show, have a chat and let the evening take its course. Food was another enjoyable part of the stay. Breakfast choices such as eggs, pancakes and waffles were welcome, while the main meals offered opportunities to try Greek food alongside familiar dishes. The restaurant team and housekeeping staff deserve recognition as well; there is a lot of work going on to keep everyone fed and the hotel looking tidy. For a day away from the pool, head down to Kos Town’s harbour and have a look at the boat excursions. The three-island trips are one of the options worth considering, and you can compare operators, routes and what is included before booking. Even without taking a trip, the harbour makes a lovely place to explore, followed by a wander through the shops or a meal in town. We liked having that choice: stay at the hotel and relax, or go out and see more. A really enjoyable holiday, with a hardworking team who contributed a great deal to it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clean, comfortable and a great place to unwind We really enjoyed Niriides and would happily consider returning. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, and we found it very easy to settle into a routine of breakfast, time around the pool and deciding later whether to stay put or head out somewhere. Cleanliness stood out throughout our stay. Our room was well looked after, and the restaurant and pool areas showed the same care. The different swimming pools are a real advantage, particularly if you prefer a quieter spot. The newer accommodation areas are worth looking at when choosing your room, as the hotel has different sections and room arrangements. We were pleased with the food. Breakfast offered a good start to the day, and at lunch and dinner we enjoyed having a selection of hot dishes, salads and desserts. The staff in the restaurant worked hard keeping everything moving, clearing tables and helping guests. Kos Town is well worth exploring beyond the waterfront. Eleftherias Square is a good place to pause, with cafés, outdoor tables and the Archaeological Museum beside the square. The surrounding streets lead into the Old Town, where you can browse for souvenirs and find somewhere for lunch or an evening meal. There’s enough close together to enjoy an unhurried look around. Being able to combine pool days with a visit to town was a big part of the appeal. Niriides gave us a comfortable base, a friendly welcome and the chance to switch off. We left feeling that we’d had a proper holiday.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely hotel, made special by the people We had such an enjoyable stay at Niriides. There is a lovely friendliness about the place, and it didn’t take long to feel settled. The staff deserve a huge amount of credit for that. Whether you’re at reception, in the restaurant or around the bar, a smile and a bit of conversation make a difference, and we really appreciated the welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping team clearly worked hard. The choice of swimming pools is another big positive. Having several areas to choose from gives you the chance to find somewhere that suits you, whether you want to be near the activities or spend an afternoon relaxing. We enjoyed the food too, particularly having Greek dishes to try alongside more familiar choices. Do make time for Kos Town while you’re here. The harbour is lovely to wander around, with boats offering excursions and plenty of places to stop for something to eat or drink. Head further into the Old Town and there are smaller streets lined with shops, cafés and restaurants. It’s easy to spend a few hours browsing without needing a particular plan. The hotel is outside the centre, so allow roughly half an hour or more if walking, depending on your pace and where you’re heading. There are also local buses, and reception can help arrange a taxi. For us, the combination of relaxing days at the hotel and having Kos Town within reach worked really well. Thank you to everyone at Niriides for making us feel so welcome.

We had the most amazing time staying in the bungalows at Niriides Hotel! As a group of girls, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holiday. The bungalows were lovely and gave us our own cosy space to relax, while being so close to the beach made everything even better. One of our absolute favourite parts was the bar! We loved the atmosphere, spending time together, enjoying drinks, and making the best memories. The food was also fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything came together to create such a fun, relaxed, and unforgettable holiday. We honestly didn’t want to leave and would definitely come back again.
