Our stay at the Akti Imperial in Rhodes did not meet our expectations, and based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel. The swimming pools were very cold during our visit, which appeared to limit their use by guests. The indoor pool water also looked extremely dirty, with clumps of hair floating in it. The gym facilities differed from the hotel’s advertised information. The promotional images show four treadmills and a cross-trainer; however, only one treadmill was available, and it was not working. The food offered limited variety, with many of the same dishes served each evening. The overall quality was below the standard we expected from the hotel. On our second day, we became ill with norovirus and had to have a doctor come to our room for treatment. We subsequently became aware that many other guests were experiencing the same illness. In our view, the hotel should be closed and thoroughly disinfected. Overall, the cold swimming pools, unavailable gym equipment, limited food variety, and illness during our stay resulted in a disappointing experience. We would not return to this hotel.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time, the hotel is lovely and has lots to offer. Staff were all friendly and very helpful and the entertainment team were fab! - something different every night and lots of games during the day (in and out of the pool) Anis from the entertainment team chatted to us everyday and encouraged us to join in the with dancing and activities - thank you to everyone!
