Atalanti Boutique Hotel

Atalanti is one of the most beautiful and aesthetic hotels i’ve ever stayed at. Unfortunately, on my first day there, I had an allergic reaction to food at the pool bar. I made all of the staff aware of my egg and nut allergies beforehand, and the chef who prepared my food that day was also aware of this, but the chef mistakenly added egg wash to my burger bun, which resulted in me being very sick and missing out on an entire afternoon/night of my stay. This also meant the rest of my holiday was impacted as I was unable to eat/enjoy my trip fully. I cannot critique the staff at this hotel. They were very friendly and you can tell they genuinely love making the hotel guests feel welcome and comfortable. Special shoutout to - Stelios, Nikolas, Nektarios and Mr Vrez who went that extra mile! Following my unfortunate allergic reaction, they went above and beyond and tried as best as they could to make my stay better, by offering my and my friend free drinks/food for the rest of the stay: however, I was unable to make full use of this due to the impact the allergic reaction had on my body. The hotel is also a bit further out from the main Faliriki city as it sits at the top of a hill (which does mean you get a great view of Rhodes), so I would highly recommend hiring a car if you stay here. Because it’s quite remote, I think this hotel would also benefit from some entertainment in the evenings, or even converting the outside pool bar into a cocktail bar with live music for example, so there is something to do in the evenings that doesn’t require travelling out.

Staff are friendly food is good. However we were disappointed with the upgrade to a pool room. Normally when you upgrade you get a better room this is not the case. Rooms are lacking in storage and the shower in bathroom is very small & tends to leak all over the floor. You get 2 bottles of water in room on arrival but that's it. It's the same with shower gel 2 very small tubes which are not replaced. There are no shops nearby and the hotel shop is poor it needs to be better stocked. It was our 50th Anniversary whilst we were staying and I emailed 2 weeks before our stay to say I wanted it to be special & could we have a pool room that got the sun in afternoon. I did get a reply so It had been read but we were allocated a smaller pool terrace which got no sun in afternoons. There are about 5 much bigger terraces which are corner ones & more scope to move sunbeds during the day. These would have been more suitable and despite looking available when we arrived we were not allocated one of these. It was dark when we arrived and the outside section of path lighting to our room was broken and it is very dark on you way back at night from hotel restaurant. Had I noticed on arrival we had a small terrace I would have asked to change. No acknowledgement of our anniversary was mentioned not even a happy Anniversary on our dessert plate! the maid did however provide a pair of swan towels on bed when she saw the anniversary cards. Glad we went but will not return as expect just a little bit more when I pay for an upgrade which sadly at this hotel we did not receive.

Just finishing a week stay here and have loved it, nice staff and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast is ok good selection of omelettes, pancakes, and other options available cooked fresh with continental breakfast as well. We didn’t eat in the A la Carte restaurant or from the pool bar but what I did see looked fine. Rooms are ok and cleaned at your request daily if required. We had 2nd floor overlooking mountains ⛰️ nice and quiet. You can hire transport from reception and it is same price as on the main strip. Small onsite shop isn’t the cheapest and due to location nothing else near as it’s about a 30min steady walk to Faliraki centre ok going down taxi back €10-12 or scooters/ electric bike dotted around. The PAVO bar / restaurant next door is worth a visit, used by the locals so always a good indication. All in All out of 10 I would say 8-9 a few more selections in the shop wouldn’t go amiss, oh no issue getting a sun lounger but pool isn’t open until 10am which in peak season 9am would probably be better. Thanks to all the staff and reception staff were very helpful.

I found this Hotel clean and had a good Atmosphere. The two pools are great and with it being an Adults only there was a deep end which allows you to dive into it. The rooms are adequate with a safe and fridge and AC. My biggest gripe is the Shower it is too small and you can easily flood the bathroom, I had to use the towels every day to mop the water up. They are maintained every day . Location is not the best up a hill with a long walk to Falaraki. Taxis are available from reception and cost about 15 euros.Best to Hire a car if you want to explore. What stands out about the Hotel are the staff nothing is too much trouble and will help with any problems you have. If you want a quiet Holiday it's a great place to stay.

What can I say! This place is a real hidden gem! Had the best time here with my best friend. The hotel is beautiful, as was the pool area. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the sea view suit and what a beauty of a room it was. We had the biggest terrace ever! Overlooking everything from the pool to the ocean to the mountains. The food was amazing. Breakfast was buffet style and really good, lots of choice. Evening meal was from a set menu and was fabulous. We tried various meals and loved them all. The pool bar had the best prawn dish! The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I will be bringing my daughter back. We had an amazing time. And would like to thank the staff for a wonderful stay.
