Atlantica Mikri Poli Rhodos

Having just returned from a great week in Rhodes, as a family of 4 with 2 young children (6 and 3), I wanted to share some highlights. Firstly, the hotel and staff were very welcoming, considering we didn’t arrive until late. We had an issue where our ‘sofa bed’ wasn’t make up but that was quickly rectified. However I do have a minor gripe that the “sofa bed” was more like 2 sofas rather than a purpose sofa bed - despite our neighbours having a proper sofa bed. The pools were great, however were all freezing cold. Not sure if that was because of the recent rains or is normal for this time of year but it did put the kids off getting in as much as normal. Food and entertainment were the highlights, can’t fault the team especially Zuzana and Magda. I would say that more pool based activities would be better but that’s minor. Another annoying feature was being charged 6euro per bed to use the sunbeds on the beach. This is despite the area appearing to belong to the hotel so being charged as a guest of the hotel felt over the top. Otherwise, great hotel for families and would recommend

Mikri Poli ❤️☀️ What a holiday! We’ve had the best time at Mikri Poli and honestly, we’re all absolutely gutted to be home. Kids AND adults have been in tears 😭😂 I think that says it all! 🍽️ Food Food was lovely, loads of choice and different themes each night, so there was always something for everyone. Our favourite was definitely the Polynesian restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was spot on! 🍹 Bars There’s plenty of choice when it comes to bars, so there’s something for everyone. The only disappointment was the lack of non-alcoholic beers, especially as one of our group doesn’t drink. It wasn’t really handled very well, which was a shame, as you’d hope there would be a bit more choice for everyone. We did find some of the bar staff could have been a little friendlier, which would have made the experience better. A special mention to the restaurant staff, though! They were absolutely lovely, so polite, always smiling and happy to help. They really stood out and deserve a big thank you for making us feel so welcome. ❤️ 🏊 Pools & Aqua Park Plenty of pools to choose from, so you’re definitely spoilt for choice! The aqua park was a big hit with our group. It’s not massive, but what’s there is great fun. The only downside was that the slides weren’t always running, which was a bit disappointing. The lifeguards were all really friendly too, which was such a nice change from some places we’ve been where they look like they don’t want to be there! 😂 Pink Wave Entertainment – NEXT LEVEL! Honestly, these guys were amazing! There was always something going on, day and night, and you can see just how hard the Pink Wave team work. They never stop! A massive shout-out to Suzi, Lucas and Tomas. The kids absolutely loved them, and if we’re honest, so did the adults! 😂 They brought so much fun and made the whole experience that little bit more special. We were especially impressed with Tomas and how much English he’s learnt in such a short space of time. It’s been brilliant to see, and you can tell he really makes the effort with everyone! And Suzi, with your new life in England… we hope you like the rain, it’s not stopped since we got off the plane! 😂🌧️ You’ve been warned! Also, Nicole and her Ariel skills were amazing! 🧜‍♀️ What a talented woman! Coming home has been the worst bit! We genuinely didn't expect to feel this sad about leaving. The kids have been gutted, and even the adults have shed a few tears 😭😂 When a holiday leaves you feeling like that, you know it’s been something special. A massive thank you to everyone at Mikri Poli, but especially the Pink Wave team and the restaurant staff, for all the laughs, kindness, effort and memories. Despite a few little niggles, we’ve had an amazing holiday and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. We’re home, but we’re definitely not ready to be home! Already want to go back! ❤️

We visited Mikri Poli 2nd-9th of October and had a great family holiday (kids 8 + 10). Although a large complex, the many pools made it spacious and not on top of each other and so many options to keep everyone entertained. Waterpark was just enough for our kids and felt very safe with multiple life guards on duty. Staff were always friendly. The pool, surroundings and rooms very clean. Room was spacious and plenty of storage. We were in room 286 opposite a nice quieter pool and bar, our balcony had sun all day but was nice in the afternoon when able to sit on the balcony before getting ready for dinner, looking over the beautiful mountains and the other side a view of the waterpark. Food was okay, always something for us all to choose from. The a la carte restaurants were nice especially the Mediterranean one which was accross the road. Location of the hotel was perfect, close to beach, 5 minutes walk to Kolympia which has nice shops/bars/restaurants which was enough but not too much or busy. We did a few days out, Lindos and Rhodes Town. Bus stop was right outside the hotel which was very convenient. We also did a day trip to Symi Island which was by far the best day, the company picked us up at the hotel and all ran smoothly to Rhodes harbour and across on the boat where we then had 3 hours to explore. Rated 4 stars only due to the quality of food and drink in the AI But I also appreciate how they have to accommodate large numbers. None of us wanted to leave and would definitely return ❤️

Just returned from a week stay with my wife and daughter (10). This was our first stay in Rhodes and in a Mikri Poli hotel and we had a very enjoyable experience. The Reception staff were extremely helpful, including ordering a cake for my daughters birthday which was presented during one of our meals. We also received a gift from the hotel, which was above and beyond - a sincere thank you for making her birthday special. We found the breakfast, lunch and dinner options in the main restaurant were varied and very good quality. We went to the Mediterranean and Italian a la carte and had a very nice dining experience in both. The Animation team were extremely enthusiastic and you could tell the children really enjoyed it. My daughter especially enjoyed the comedy and magic shows in the evening. My wife visited the Spa for about 90 mins of treatments - whilst not up with the pricing of such things in London, I felt the money charged was not unreasonable and she said it was a very nice experience. Rooms were serviced daily and kept clean. No issues with the air-con, and to correct a previous review, we noted the mini-fridge did remain on even when our key was removed. Indeed the entire complex was kept very clean with ample bins and recycle points which appeared to be emptied regularly. The Waterpark was a little smaller than I had hoped with two of the slides closed in the period we were there - I am not sure if this was maintenance issues or simply being close to the end of season. My daughter still enjoyed the slides she went on, as well as the lazy river. The hotel has a small shop on site in the complex. We didn't use it, instead I ventured into the town/village which was a little cheaper, about 10 minute walk. The nearby beach (basically just on the edge of the hotel complex so very easy to get to) is more stoney than sandy, but is clean and the sea calm. There were a couple of watersports (jet-ski, floaties, pedalos) available. No hard sales tactics and reasonably priced. Sun loungers cost 6 euro to hire (per person) which is charged to your room. Being located about halfway between Lindos and Falaraki we did feel a little out of the way so perhaps 7 nights was ideal for us. We didn't see any information about trips to either location though we didn't request it as my daughter wanted to stay at the hotel. I would imagine a taxi would not be overly expensive. Drinks list on the all-inclusive was reasonable as one might expect with an all-inclusive in this price bracket. They had ran out of one of the premium beers but this is likely to our visit being so close to the end of season. We were disappointed to leave which is probably the acid-test for writing a good review - all in all, we had a really nice holiday.

I had a treatment at the spa hotel. Spot on treatment, staff super nice and very relaxed. Would recommend Serena 10/10
