Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort & Spa

Location is great, not much around but an easy taxi ride into Rhodes old and new town. Atmosphere is relaxed, no evening entertainment so if you are all inclusive you’ll have to make your own. Rooms are really spacious, cleaned daily with fresh towels day and night. Food is really good in the hotel, if you are B&B then there is a shop on site that sells everything and cheaper than normal hotel shops. Value for money I would say, fiat holiday in a number of years not being all inclusive. Definitely saved money and been out and about which is a nice change. Daytime activities are minimal, I would be nice for them to have the darts and ping pong outside to draw in people to get involved. If we’re ever to return to Rhodes I would probably stay here again.

What makes a hotel experience a truly 5 star experience...? Platinum Atrium achieves this by the way! Is it the beautiful surroundings, glorious rooms and excellent facilities? Spacious rooms, power shower and general in room facilities? Yes. Is it the order to your sun lounger food and drink app and the fact there are plenty of loungers available? Yes. Is it the beautiful, varied and tasty food - even the all-inclusive buffet being such top quality and taste? Yes. This hotel has it all, and more. But the main thing, what makes it a truly outstanding 5 star experience, are the staff. They will go out of their way, in every aspect, to make your experience special. My only personal bugbear was the entertainment which was a bit hit and miss. Would I recommend this hotel to you? Without a moment's hesitation.

This hotel is more than a 5* in my eyes… This hotel has been ok my bucket list for the last couple of years and it did not disappoint. We booked this as a last minute holiday as a family of three (2 adults and a 2 year old). I contacted the hotel to inform them that I would be heavily pregnant and could they locate us a room that was close to everything as well as providing whole milk for my son. They came back in a timely fashion and assured me that my request would be met and if I needed anything else that nothing would be too much trouble. On arrival, we were greeted with warmth and smiles. The welcoming drink was lovely too. Check in was quick and the concierge were fantastic with helping with our bags and escorting us to our room. On arrival to our room, we were blown away by the size and the two full plates of food provided as we arrived very late. The room was immaculate! There were plenty of sun-beds to go round. I have never been to a hotel where the sun-beds have been so comfortable and clean. Everywhere round the pool was spotless! The app ordering of food and drink round the pool was an absolute saviour and what’s brilliant idea! Everything was fresh, served with a smile and quick. The main restaurant - outstanding!!!! Staff amazing, especially with my son. Food was incredible! Breakfast - do much to chose from that I was never bored. The evening meals on the buffet were flavoursome and plentiful. The à la carte menu was delicious. The high chairs were super clean and what I loved about it, was the table setting and the stunning sunsets in the evening. I have say a special thank you to Klaudio for taking care of us and to every member of staff during our stay. I wish we had booked longer than a week and I am very much looking forward to our next visit.

We are over a week into our stay here on a bed and breakfast board and have mixed feelings about the hotel. There are some great things about the hotel, but it does have some negatives. Good stuff; Great pool. Lots of sunbeds. Close to Rhodes Town (albeit too far to walk). Very clean. Friendly staff. Great app for ordering drinks/ food. Large bedrooms. Great padel court. Not so good; The bedrooms are poorly sound proofed (making us all very tired!). The poolside pizzas are horrible, although the chicken burgers are very good. There are hardly any activities, even though advertised - not good for teenagers. The hotel is a little dated in design. Shower only over a bath. Whether you love this hotel (like most of the reviews) boils down to whether you are on the all inclusive package. I can then see how the food offer for the gourmet restaurants will add value, but we didn’t want that as we booked the hotel to eat out in Rhodes town, which has some amazing restaurants. It’s our second visit to Ixia, but the hotel falls into a no man’s land - not close to the main Ixia restaurants, but too far to walk to Rhodes Town. This leaves few places to visit locally if you want to go outside the hotel. That said Anna’s place on the beach is fab.
