Aulus Lindos Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton

Nice hotel. Delicious food, great atmosphere, good and friendly service and the best bartender I have ever had: Wilson. A great guy who is always in a good mood and makes great drinks

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly and we felt very comfortable. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. In a few places, the hotel is missing a little bit of care and attention to detail. With a bit more focus on the small things, you could get even more out of the hotel. A special thank you to Wilson at the bar! He was always friendly, funny and in a good mood. He made our evenings at the bar even better. Great guy and a great bartender!

The 5 star at this hotel was Thalia, customers services manager From the moment we arrived, our stay at this hotel truly felt like a 5‑star experience — thanks largely to the incredible team who went above and beyond for us throughout our visit. A special mention must go to Thalia, the Customer Service Manager. She is dedicated, efficient, dependable, and genuinely committed to making every guest’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a huge difference to our holiday. She is an absolute asset to the hotel. We also want to recognise Stella at the speciality restaurants, who made every dining experience feel personal and memorable. She offered thoughtful recommendations and clearly cared about ensuring we enjoyed the best food the resort had to offer. At the Asian restaurant, Alvin was always smiling, friendly, and full of positive energy — a joy to be around. And Alex at the pool bar worked incredibly hard while still keeping the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. 🌿 Spa Experience Both my husband and I visited the spa, and the treatments were exceptional. I had a deep tissue massage from Aret, and it was honestly the best massage I have ever had. My husband enjoyed an aromatherapy massage from Evangelia, who was equally skilled and attentive. 🚐 Transport Service Finally, a big thank you to the driver who took our group to Lindos village. I accidentally left my mobile phone on the transport, and he kindly handed it in to reception — a gesture we were extremely grateful for.

Here now and after 1 day can see that service is slow, definitely more staff needed. For a 5 star hotel where are the drinks round the pool, why paper cups and queues for the street food truck? Will do another review after end of holiday but so far service not good enough. Room is fab and grounds lovely but if service isn’t there then it’s disappointing

A great week overall – with a few areas that could be improved for a 5-star resort I went to Aulūs Lindos Rhodes for 7 nights all-inclusive during the last week of September. I’ll be honest, I arrived feeling slightly sceptical after reading some of the negative reviews beforehand, but overall we had a really positive experience and came away having had a lovely week. From the moment we arrived, the front desk and concierge team were exceptional. We were greeted with drinks and live music in the main area before being taken to our room by golf cart, with our bags taken care of and a tour of the resort along the way. It was a really nice introduction to the hotel. The room and sunbeds I had read quite a few reviews complaining about the beds, but personally we never had an issue with this. There are plenty of sunbeds available if you get out reasonably early. The only time I could see this being a problem is if you’re arriving at 10:30–11am expecting to find loads of beds immediately available. Earlier in the morning, we had no problem finding somewhere to relax. Drinks & bars We really enjoyed the cocktails throughout the stay. One thing worth knowing is that many of the cocktails are pre-made rather than being made completely from scratch, but we still found them enjoyable. A special mention to Alex and Wilson at the bar, who were both incredibly friendly throughout our stay. They often recommended different drinks for me to try and really added to the experience. Food This is probably the area where I think the hotel could improve if it wants to consistently justify its 5-star positioning. The main all-inclusive buffet was decent, but the service could be slow, particularly when it came to drinks, and some of the food could get cold quite quickly. It’s not that there wasn’t enough choice, but I think the overall execution could be better for a resort at this level. The à la carte restaurants were a completely different experience, though, and the Meze restaurant in particular was exceptional. We absolutely loved the whole experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and gave us plenty of recommendations for drinks and wines throughout the three courses. One thing worth knowing is that the starters and mains can arrive together, which isn’t necessarily what you’d expect, but it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal. I’d definitely recommend booking the à la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive, as they’re well worth experiencing. Location & Lindos The location is fantastic and the resort itself is beautiful. We also used the complimentary shuttle into Lindos, which I would say is a must-do. It’s a great way to get out of the resort and experience the area without having to arrange your own transport. Overall There are definitely a few things I think could be improved, particularly around the main buffet and service, and I’d probably expect those areas to be stronger from a true 5-star resort. However, those issues didn’t stop us from having a genuinely great week. The staff were fantastic, the location is amazing, the à la carte dining was excellent and there was a really good overall atmosphere throughout the resort. We paid around £1,000 per person for the full 7-night all-inclusive trip through British Airways, which I think represented very good value. I’d happily recommend Aulūs Lindos Rhodes to friends and family based on our experience. My only caution would be around the price: if you’re paying considerably more than we did, I can understand why some of the negative reviews may stand out more, as your expectations for a 5-star experience will naturally be higher. For around the price we paid, though, we had a lovely week and I’d happily return.
