Electra Palace Rhodes

So disappointed in our first evening here last night. We ordered our drinks twice via the QR code as directed by staff in the Lounge bar. After 30 minutes no drinks arrived so one of us went to enquire where our drinks were and we’re told someone would come over. No one did - so, again, we ordered via the QR code - thirty or so minutes later still no drinks. Again one of us went over -to the bar - barman said ‘can’t help you’! At this point I asked to see the bar manager to complain - 75 minutes sitting down together with no drinks on our first family gathering together and not a drink in sight - appalling customer service. The bar manager could provide no answer as to why this happened. Hoping things improve…

I had a massage with Areti. It was lovely. Would definitely recommend xx

Sensational treatment, will highly recommend it

Just retuned from a week at The Electra Palace. To give this hotel a 5* rating is ridiculous. We encountered rude staff, everyone looked completely fed up and deflated. I appreciate it’s the end of the season but it’s my hard earned money and my holiday so…. Food was mediocre at best, not enough of it, mostly cold by the time we got to it, felt like drinks were extremely rationed, it took literally forever to get a drink in the evening. The management really need to address the QR code system for ordering drinks in the bar, and I don’t want to drink my warm Prosecco from a plastic cup every night! The themed restaurants really aren’t worth bothering with, food was pretty poor. The good points were - the room was perfectly acceptable, nice walk in shower, modernish, there were plenty of sunbeds so there was no scrum in the morning, the grumpy women who worked in the snack bar really need to cheer up or have a career change if we all annoy you. Anyway, long snd short of it is we won’t be back, not even the fact that it’s 15 mins from the airport can persuade us!

I visited the spa and was given a scrub and oil body treatment by a lovely lady called Christianna, she was very professional, attentive and made sure my experience was very relaxing. The spa is beautiful and very clean, a lovely get away from the business of the pool etc to relax and unwind.
