Electra Palace Rhodes

Me and my partner went for a massage was was amazing! I would highly recommend. I had Chara and she was great!

I had a massage with Fenia, and she was absolutely lovely! She did an amazing job, and I left feeling completely relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. It was exactly what I needed! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful massage experience.

Firstly the reason we have marked this hotel down is its location on the flight path to Rhodes main runway. Even in September/October there are continuous in coming flights at about 600- 1000 feet above the hotel , this being said you do get use to it and eventually you don’t really notice it. HOWEVER, the hotel is excellent in all other aspects. The building is modern and well appointed and very clean. There are plenty of sun beds and seating areas scattered around the pool, building and on the hotels private beach with plenty of shaded areas. From the very start we were warmly greeted by the staff even at 1am and this continued throughout our stay. You are able to order drinks to be delivered to your location. The food and drinks are of a very high standard, and I would say the best we have encountered on all inclusive breaks. The quality is very good. A shout out to the pastry chef as there was a great selection of desserts and, unlike previous hotels, they actually taste as they are described, not the usual lots of different looking desserts all tasting the same. It would have been nice to see a higher percentage of Greek food - this should be celebrated! At other 5 star hotels we have stayed at there has been at least one breakfast where fizz is available these maybe things to consider. We paid a visit to the spa where we enjoyed the indoor pool, bookable sauna and steam room and a full body massage and exfoliating scrub. The friendly team were excellent, we were very well looked after. An overall fantastic friendly hotel.

We stayed at the Electra Palace for a week at the end of September 2026 and had a really nice holiday overall. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are exceptional. They work so hard and genuinely couldn't do enough for you. I did see another guest state they weren’t very well informed when they checked in about where everything was and what the hotel had to offer - I concur with this - although their website is very helpful and you can make restaurant bookings through this. We had a Side Sea View room which was spacious with a lovely big, comfortable bed. The air con worked really well. The balcony was on the smaller side but had a table and 2 chairs so perfectly usable. The bathroom was very clean, the only odd thing was the shower is over the bathtub in the middle of the room - you would expect a walk in shower in a 5 star hotel abroad. Facilities The pool area is very clean with loads of seating and sunbeds, we never struggled to get a lounger. The pool temperature was exactly what you'd expect (on the cold side!) The indoor spa pool wasn't the most relaxing if you do use it. The gym is actually decent, better than you usually find abroad. The hotel is right on the beach with its own beach bar and plenty of sun loungers. Just to note if you go in September, when it's windy the sea can be quite rough, but when the wind drops it's very calm. Food & Drink The bars are well stocked and service is good. They operate table service via a QR code which works well. The buffet restaurant is good with lots of choice at all mealtimes. We tried all 3 a la carte options, Italian, Greek and Wine Bar, they were all nice with good service. The cocktails aren’t too nice - very strong and sugary- the usual shorts and beer are good though. Entertainment Generally ok and what you would expect. There was a rock 'n' roll band one night who were really good, and an ABBA tribute another night which was as cheesy as you would expect! Service Room service was great, it was my girlfriend's birthday while we were away and I arranged balloons, a bottle of wine and a cake through reception. They were so happy to help and it was a really nice touch. Location & Getting Around Transfer from the airport only takes 15-20 mins so very convenient. The hotel is on the approach path for planes landing at the airport, it didn't bother us at all but the planes do come in quite low along the shoreline. It's about 30 mins by bus to Rhodes Town. We arranged the shuttle bus into Rhodes Town via a QR code in the hotel, it costs €9 return and was very easy to use. The immediate surrounding area isn't the nicest with quite a few abandoned buildings, but that didn't affect our stay. We used the car hire place over the road from the hotel. We found them very helpful and the process was easy. I paid €55 to hire a Mercedes A class for the day to drive to Lindos and back. I only had to show my UK driving licence with no deposit and hidden cost. Would recommend for convenience and price. We spent €25 on diesel as well as the hire. Overall a very positive experience and we would recommend. Being completely honest I would say it's more of 4-star than a 5-star, but we had a lovely holiday.
