Lovely modern hotel very clean and staff very attentive and friendly nothing is to much trouble good choice of breakfast and a brilliant location so many restaurants to choose from great shopping and ideal for the old town and centre alike

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Esperia City Hotel for making our stay absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, everything was perfect. The friendliness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality of every member of staff made our holiday truly special. Fabulous care from all of the staff.room cleaned every other day. Spotlessly. Because of my health very important. Food was great. Variety. And kitchen staff were wonderful. Nothing too much trouble. Reception staff very keen to help at all times.very important. But the most helpful and welcoming person I met was Amousha.sorry if spelling is incorrect. But her youth and experience shone out all the other staff.as her heartfelt warmth and nature in every aspect was appreciated wholley .thank you for my amazing 2 weeks spent in all your company.

The hotel was beautifully clean and all the staff were absolutely lovely. However, on arrival, in each room, the hotel should have provided, small complimentary bottles of water, a kettle with tea and coffee, a travel iron (there was a hair dryer attached to the wall but it looked as though it had been wired in during the 1980s so I didn't go near it), a map of the local area, a map of the island, and a list of “do’s and don’ts” for tourists — for example, not to drink the tap water or have ice in drinks it will make you ill - and it did, for 24 hours! The cooked breakfast was cold and unpleasant. Breakfast finished at 10:30, and we were there around 9, so the food should still have been hot. They had also run out of fresh fruit two days in a row (there were a few apples left). The TV in our separate rooms didn’t work and only had Greek radio options. My bedside phone didn’t work at all. The fridge didn’t keep anything cold and there was no thermostat to adjust it. The shower didn’t work properly, although it was fixed within 24 hours. I didn’t have a “Do Not Disturb” door sign for my room (my friend did). The cleaners — who were absolutely lovely — came around far too early in the mornings (9:30). For the price we paid, the stay was a big disappointment however, if all of the above were to be improved and implemented, this would have made all the difference.

Arrived late at night receptionist was very helpful. The room was very clean plenty of storage space plus a fridge which was a bonus. The safe in the room was free to use. The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from catering for all tastes, The staff throughout the hotel were very polite and helpful. The pool area was very nice and clean plus drinks and food could be ordered and brought to your sun beds. Overall I would recommend this hotel in fact I am going back again in June for 10 days.
