Esperos Palace

Thank you very much, we had a great stay at the hotel. Very positive atmosphere, super friendly staff and very clean place overall. Also to mention, food was amazing! Great variety of fresh salads, fish dishes, meat and so on. Special compliment to the pastry shef - so much to choose from and every evening something new! Please note, there are few dinning options in the hotel. 1. Main Restaurant "Ambrosia" - that's where you have your breakfast and dinner. All buffet style, however on some days you can request a Shef-special, which cookes specifically for you by the shef. Dishes to choose from are displayed by the entrance to the Restaurant. In the morning, there is a self-service at the champagne bar. Breakfast - is a buffet style. 2. Restaurant "Castello" offered AleCart Menu. However, as part of your package you can book a "Burger Project" - that should be booked in advance to avoid overlooking. Hotel has lovely grounds with "lazy river" pool, large bar bool and only few steps to the beach with sunbeds and sun umbrellas. Entertainment is quite pleasant. However split on some days between sister Hotel Esperos Mare which is located at the same grounds and linked with the corridor. All staff members speak German and English besides native Greek languages. At the hotel beach is a water activities centre where you can book loads of different things according to the age range. Hotel location is perfect - It's only 5 min walk to the largest WaterPark in Rhodes - Faliraki Water Park. Just a few bus stops to the Kallithea Springs and 20 min on public bus to the old town of Rhodes. From the beach in 2 stops you can book a Speed boat to island Symi. As a feedback, I would highlight few things that I found odd and might need a closer look at: 1. Me and my 9y old daughter were given a Room 152, which is located straight above of smoking area. Yes, balcony doors are helping, however if you leave them open - smoke comes to the room. As not a smoking family - it did slightly trigger us. In the future I would suggest avoid taking this room if you are not a smoker or staying withkids. 2. I was surprised being denied by my ask of complimentary upgrade to the sea view room. It's clearly noted on the booking confirmation that complimentary upgrade question to availability. Surely on the last second week before season closing there are free rooms with a sea view left. Sadly we didn't get it. Overall nice hotel and I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Nice hotel. Rooms reasonably sized and well equipped with storage possibilities. Beautiful view from balcony over the sea. Clean. Friendly staff. Hotel outside areas are also very nice and clean with pools, garden area and direct access to beach. Wonderful experience with yoga class in the garden in the morning sun. Not too crowded in any of the areas and always possible to find sun beds (October). The pool was relatively cold, but definitely possible to swim and nice once you are in the water (again: October). The sea was a bit warmer, and the clean beach and clear water makes it very attractive. Buffet in the restaurant was okay, but personally I would prefer fewer dishes/options for dinner in the buffet and higher quality. I also would prefer more traditional greek food. The area in close proximity to the hotel is not very interesting, and there are not really any good options for taking walks directly from the hotel. Very easy to go to for instance the city of Rhodes or Lindos as the bus stop is just in front of the hotel.

Lovely clean hotel and we had an excellent sleep. We stayed in the Panorama Double Room Sea View and it was clean and comfortable. Style of the room was quite dated. It felt like a cruise ship in the 1990’s. The room only comes with the twin beds and there are no double beds available for this type of room. Gorgeous view from the balcony! With the room type we received a turn down service which meant that the towels were changed again in the evening. Personally I thought that was a really nice touch. We had a half board so we ate in the restaurant in the morning and evening. Very lovely food and each day different options available. You won’t get bored with the options. Gorgeous swimming pool area and typical Greek style beach with pebbles. Extremely attentive and friendly staff!

We had a wonderful stay at Esperos Palace Resort and Spa! Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and helpful, especially the staff that we had contact with at the reception and at the restaurants. The pool area is gorgeous with a big pool and a lazy river and just beyond the pool there's sunbeds at the beach that belongs to the hotel. We had a beautiful superior room with sea view and got to enjoy the sunrise from the balcony every morning. The bed was very comfortable- firm bed with soft pillows and the curtains blocked out the lights. There's lots of place to store belongings and hang your clothes and the bathroom and toilet are separate. We took a tour with Faliraki Tours and the pickup was at the dock at the sister hotel - very convenient. The bus stop to Rhodes town is just outside the hotel and if you want a taxi instead the reception can call one for you. We definitely want to come back to Rhodes and Esperos Palace more times!!

The hotel’s common areas and rooms are very clean. You are welcomed in a pleasant lobby. However, the rooms have an average design and could use some more maintenance. The towels seem to be in need of renewal. At the reception, Mario was very helpful and attentive in every matter. His restaurant recommendations were excellent, and he also assisted with making reservations. Even for the daily boat tours, he managed to get us in despite the last-minute booking. Many thanks for everything. The beach by the sea is comfortable, and there are usually available sunbeds, but both the sunbeds and the beach towels also need to be renewed. Towels are replaced only after two days of use. The service is not very efficient; sometimes they don’t show up even after being called. The beach and sea are very pebbly, although we know this is the case at many beaches in Rhodes. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and prosecco is served every morning.
