    We stayed at this hotel April 2nd - April 7th 2026 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, photo proof added. Positives - The staff (Other than the manager and bald receptionist) were amazing, friendly, super helpful, spotted people who needed help like the elderly or children. The manager lets this hotel down 100% with the way he speaks to customers and dismisses all concerns and calls them liars for saying they don't have hot water and heating when 90% of the guests had exactly the same issue. Even after he's said that someone's been up and fixed it when it clearly had not been fixed. We are either lying and there is no issue, or there is a problem and you've fixed it. Which one is it? Thursday 2 April: Checked in. No hot water or heating. Reported the issue. Told someone will come up, waited 30-40 minutes for noone to come. Reported again. Friday 3 April: Still no hot water/heating despite being told it had been fixed. Asked to move rooms, told if it's not fixed by 10am tomorrow we will move you, I asked if we could just move rooms tonight as it was very cold in the room and told there are no rooms. We asked for more blankets and we were told by the bald receptionist that they don't have any, then said that they do but they're for new guests. I ask what we could do as i had struggled with the cold night after only cold showers and he said 'i could tell you what I would do but you won't like it'. We asked what that was and he said 'i would sleep in here (the lobby) where there is a heater'. So I asked if he thought it was appropriate for a female to sleep in the lobby with both main doors unlocked and open to the outdoor whilst also having an undocumented man sleeping on the sofa. He just said that's what he would do. Saturday 4 April: No update, we had to constantly ask noone came to us as they said they would, we went to reception to ask for an update, told to wait longer, finally moved rooms at our request at 1pm. Saturday afternoon 4th- 7th April : In the new room with hot water and heating. When we arrived, we were informed that the hotel had been affected by severe weather the night before. We understood that some disruption was unavoidable and were prepared to be patient while things were being put right. Other than one pool being drained (the entire time we were there) there was no clear effort to open the pools or bars. There were staff members in the new derelict building, loads of works, cleaning and getting the rooms ready for new guest arrivals but no attempts to help the guests that were already there. The beach bar/snack bar did not open during our holiday. The only facilities available were the lobby bar and the restaurant (no food was labelled in the restaurant) During our 5-night stay, we only managed to have two hot showers. For us, hot water is a basic facility that should be available regardless of any other circumstances. After returning home, we submitted a complaint through our tour operator. The hotel's response was particularly disappointing, as it included the following statements '"Is completely and utterly untrue, and we do frown upon intentional false statements made from guests for monetary compensations due to their holiday experience." "As for the guest to complain about the overall condition of the hotel after such extreme weather occurrences is quite concerning to basic human logic." It was not about the weather (although we did have rain and thunder), the hotel was not ready to open, you can see in the photos the sunbeds are stacked lined on top of eachother at the beach, they're stacked at the pools, they're not blown over in a mess, theres nothing set up, from when we got there to when we left. The photos speak for themselves. As paying guests who simply reported our genuine experience, and know of multiple other guests identical complaints, we found this reply very unprofessional. Hotels don't need to be perfect for us, we understand things happen, can go wrong, especially with the weather, it's the way you handle it. We were called liars, spoken to rudely, the problems weren't resolved after days of complaints and cold showers and nights sleep and there was no effort to fix the hot water, heating, open the pools or set up the beach/snack bar or beach. It was all the same as when we arrived. (It was never about compensation, we got £35 back from a £700+ holiday, it's about being treated right and to stop this from happening to other people) We had a lovely holiday sitting in the lobby with the friends we made and going for walks. But by the Saturday it got very busy as the only place to go was the lobby which was very small. We had entertainment one night out of 5 which was the Saturday. Again, told it was because of the weather ruined their speakers, but brought old roughed up, dirty speakers on the Saturday. I do want to end on a positive note. Every member of staff we encountered, with the exception of the manager and one receptionist, was absolutely amazing. They were friendly, welcoming, hardworking and did everything they could to help despite the difficult circumstances. They are a real credit to the hotel. I genuinely believe that, once the hotel is fully operational with all facilities open and working as advertised, and with staff like these looking after guests, it has the potential to provide a fantastic holiday experience. Sadly, that wasn't the experience we had, and due to the lack of basic facilities in our room, the unavailable amenities, and the way our concerns were handled both during and after our stay, we would not return.

    Rooms were ok never got swept up as we there were glasses from a previous guest be careful when you book are room was on a road pretty much vehicles up and down all night looked nothing like we had booked skip so close overflowing

    This hotel has everything you need food was great plenty of choice the pools great the staff were fantastic the location was great easy walk into Faliraki bus stops outside the hotel to go further afield recommend this hotel highly
