Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama

After not doing all inclusive for 20 years, we decided to have 2 holidays this year that were. We went away in early July to corfu (a place that we love) and had a terrible experience. Poor quality food and drink and then picked up a bug that spread through the hotel. The one plus was that I gained no weight on that holiday. Anyway, I am sitting at the pool bar at the Dama Dama writing my review whilst relaxing with an espresso martini. The bungalow rooms are great and plenty of storage. I didn’t do a dust check like a previous reviewer though as it wasn’t on my priority list ;) We had a 7 Day holiday and 4 nights were spent in the different themed restaurants, which were all great and I would have paid to eat in them if they were not all free. The alcohol standard is really good, with a choice of wines that we could even get by the bottle for our evening meal. This is not an all inclusive where the wine is served from a machine and is barely drinkable. The local zorbas beer is nice, but if you want you can get bottled beer too, such as Heineken, sol or even an Erdinger to name a few. Cocktails are good too and all free of charge. The pool is great and there are plenty of sun beds. The sea is warmer than the pool though. The staff here are amazing and although busy, work hard to build connections with the guests. So, in summary, a great hotel, great food, great drink and a great team. We will be back and thank you for restoring my faith in an all inclusive Holiday.

Very disappointing 10-day stay – definitely not what we expected We stayed at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama for 10 days on an all-inclusive basis, and unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our experience. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. The quality was very poor and the food was generally not tasty. The fruit and many of the other products were of very low quality. For a resort of this category, we expected a much higher standard of food. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. Our room was not properly cleaned during our stay. It often felt like the staff simply made the bed and did very little else. There was dust around the room, and the overall cleanliness was far below what we would expect from a hotel of this standard. The hotel itself also felt old and poorly maintained. The rooms and facilities looked dated and tired, and the overall condition did not match the impression given by the hotel’s photos and advertising. After spending 10 days here, we honestly felt that the quality and service did not justify the price we paid. This was not the relaxing all-inclusive holiday we expected, and unfortunately we would not return or recommend this resort based on our experience.

an honest review of dama dama we arrived at hotel and was given a room in the main block inland facing. the room was on the third floor next to the main road,the view was a tree in front of balcony ,the room was very dated and still had coffee stains on table and to went back to reception to ask for another room we were told there was no other rooms vacant ,at this stage we where prepared to seek another hotel we asked to see a member of the management team,and Elisa came to see us,she went to see the room, and found us another room in the main block which was so much better..After such a bad start we did not know what to except,but we found the hotel staff excellent,too many to thank,but a must say all the staff in the lobby bar,all the staff in the .beach bar,best restaurant for us was the rose food and service great.We only went on beach, plenty of space and plenty of sun loungers.Went to rhodes town one night on the bus well worth the visit.To sum up our holiday after such a bad start we had a good time, would we come back ,not to this hotel ,but we are already looking for others in the group.I must make a special mention for one of your staff Elisa she was so good ,she made our holiday what a lovely lady.

I had the privilege of holidaying at this outstanding resort with my son and daughter in law. Having travelled a lot in my life, I can honestly say that this resort offered the VERY BEST in all- atmosphere, amenities, unbelievable entertainment and the most superior food & restaurants : ranging from the Greek Tavernaki and beach bar on the beachfront , the first-rate buffet breakfasts, lunches & dinners at the Mediterranean Buffet Restaurant, the outstanding a la carte Italian & Asiana Restaurants to the Signature Rose Restaurant! The pools and entertainment as well as lounges & service on the beach were highly appreciated! Last, but certainly NOT LEAST, was the impeccable, warm, marvelous service we received from ALL staff :-) Ekaterini, you were amazing! As was Alex, Eliza, Fotini, Yiota, Vasiliki, Kiki, Betty, Eleni, Panayiota, Christellina, Monica, Adam, Mariana, Dimitri and everyone else! THANK YOU! EFHARISTO POLI!! See you soon

I am so happy we chose exactly this place for our family vacation! The location is just perfect - at one perfect beach, giving the best view. The room and all the facilities in the hotel area are very clean, we had daily cleaning of the room and had the amenities replaced. The hotel is kid-friendly, offers a variety of entertainment for all ages, and still was quiet enough to have some rest. And of course, the staff is just perfect - always ready to help, very friendly. We would come here again for sure!
