Ialyssos Bay

Returned last week from this great hotel. It's our 6th visit only missing out the year of covid. We love coming here I feel like I'm coming home. I love Rhodes it's my happy place. Food as always was great and of plenty choice and the desserts here are to die for. I love the Greek night and the lamb on this night was just delicious. Stefanos is a fab host in the restaurant. Yes there can be queues sometimes at the bar but you are not waiting a long time. The staff here all work so hard but I do have to say that Martin who works the bar does go above and beyond. I also have to thank Christina and the lovley ladies on reception for allowing me to move rooms as I didn't sleep due to an issue with the air con. The hotel is clean. The on site shop is also good value for money. 10 min walk and you are into the little village of ialysoss with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is just a short stroll and is pebbly so would take beach shoes but love watching the beautiful sunsets. This year we visited the beautiful island of Chalki and I would recommend this. You can book a mini bus to take you into Rhodes old Town which is just amazing by both day and night. We will hopefully be back next year for our 7th visit. Thank you ialysoss Bay ❤️

Excellent hotel. Spotless inside, good food, happy staff. Bar good, although sometimes 10 minute queues. Quiet location. Only thing I didn't like are the number of cats at the hotel; and the resultant odd cat poo on the lawn. Personally would like to see less cats, although a lot of guests like the cats. From a British perspective, would of liked to see bigger cups for cups of tea. You can't make a good cuppa in a coffee cup. So was desperate for a good brew when got home. Hotel get some mugs please! Would return.

Just coming to the end of another great 2 weeks at this great hotel. This is is our 10th stay in the last 12 years. Again can't fault the staff, everyone is always happy you see you and nothing is too much effort. Room is as aways clean and bed is changed regular along with clean towels everyday if you need them. Food is good and plenty of it. Shout out to the pool bar staff and Martin in the hotel bar who all work hard to keep everyone served as quick as possible.

We are just about to leave this hotel, the location is great, 10 mins walk from town . Lots of gifts shops some really nice. Royal cocktail bar friendly and nice cocktails. Mini train ride was OK gave us something to do, George the driver was kind. Hotel staff are very friendly and work very hard, our room was immaculate we overlooked the sea such a beautiful view too. Litea our cleaner worked so hard every day she is so sweet and happy bless her. Food here was excellent lots of choices and well presented, dirty plates taken away promptly. Mary the keep fit lady was good shame more people don't attend her classes she knows whats she's doing i really enjoyed her aqua gym, yoga and pilates. We didn't watch any entertainment but regret missing the greek night. Beach is beautiful except when windy it was too much then you do have to pay fir sun beds and parasol daily which is €5 each , I don't think you should be charged as it was hotels beach Pattys cocktail bar was excellent and coffee good there too. All in all I'd recommended this hotel.

Hotel is very clean but needs a bit of upgrading in some areas such as the bathroom. Shower doors seals need changing and no plug in the bath. The food is really excellent, hats off to the kitchen staff and chef. Beds are very comfy. Staff friendly and efficient. Chairs and sofas in the lounge are most uncomfortable and need replaced ASAP. Location is not bad, beach just across the road, shops and bars about 10 minutes walk
