Lindos Blu

Lindos Blu rightly gets many great reviews and all that is written about the wonderful staff, the breakfast feast and the stunning location is absolutely spot on. However our experience was slightly different in that we booked a junior suite seduced by the photos of the room on the hotel's website. When we arrived late in the evening we were shown to our room where outside there was more than a slight smell of sewage. In the morning we awoke to see that we had been placed in a basement room pretending to be a suite with an outside seating with a small weed infested, dried out cabbage patch in front. We foolishly decide to suck it up on the basis you don't spend much time in your room. However after two days the nasty smell came back and we asked for a change of room. The staff on reception were wonderful led by the lovely Katerina and the next day we were moved to a suite that fully matched our expectations for which a heart felt thank you. The next day my wife escaped serious injury ,by a nano second, when a free standing metal parasol blew over in the wind just has she had passed it. That was an accident waiting to happen and it should not have been. Somehow the whole hotel where you need two or three changes of lift to get anywhere did not work for us. The main pool is very small with not many beds. the beach is very nice but without the golf buggy shuttle you would need to be a mountain goat to get there and back and there is only one gents and ladies loo serving two beaches accessed by a tricky little walk with trip hazards. However a special mention to Yannis who looks after the beach guests so well. Thank you Yannis and also special mention to Anastasia at breakfast service who valiantly tried to teach my wife some Greek. We did however have nice break blessed by lovely weather, looked after by the nicest people you could ever meet so you thank you everyone who made that possible.

Just back from a week at the Lindos Blu, WOW, what an amazing stay from start to finish. Check in to Check out the main priority for all the staff was the well being of the guests, they couldn't do enough for you. An extra shout out to Jannis who in the heat of the day kept us watered and fed down on the Beach always with a warm welcome and a smile on his face, what an asset he is to Lindo Blu. (as are all the staff)The breakfast and evening meal was of superb standard with service as good as any fine dining restaurant. We took time to have a couples treatment in the Spa, which was really relaxing. We upgraded to a shared pool room and so glad we did, although I wouldn't be disappointed in any of the rooms as the views are exceptional. I can understand why many of the guests you speak to come back year after year. If you want to be spoilt with 5 star accommodation and service, Lindos Blu is the place to go. We look forward to going again in the future.

My wife and I have just returned from a repeat visit to this wonderful Hotel. It is clear we are not alone in wanting to return to the Lindos Blu Hotel as we saw many other guests repeating their visits in the same way as we do and I would estimate over 70% had been there before as we have. It is clear the Hotel must be doing something right as so many do return and we put this down to the exceptional staff we continue to encounter. Service at Lindos Blu remains unbeatable and beyond anything we have seen anywhere else in our travels across the World. It is the passion the staff put into delivering their roles day after day that shines through. From the service at breakfast, through to the service around the pool or at the beach to the service at the restaurants and bar in the evening we found all the staff wanting to do their best best for us and we were quite sad to leave. On this particular visit, our experience at the Five Senses Restaurant is something that stood out the most. The quality and presentation of the food was truly exceptional and was comparable to our lunch at The Ritz in London at the start of the year! The cocktails we had at the Luna Rossa Lounge were outstanding and truly memorable. We learnt from other guests that some of the rooms have been updated and we welcome this continuing through to all the rooms - even though the views from every room remains stunning. We have come to realise this excellence in service doe not come easy and to retain so many staff despite other newer properties in Lindos and Pefkos area shows just how hard the management team at the Hotel must be working to retain this excellence We look forward to returning to Lindos Blu.

This hotel has become a big part of our lives. Such a wonderful place for relaxation, outstanding hospitality, delicious food and the opportunity to be pampered and truly relax. A real holiday. Thoroughly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at lindos blue.The hotel its self is beautiful, peaceful and modern.The service was exceptional throughout our stay,special mention to Alda and Savvas from front desk ,their kindness and attention to detail made our experience feel even more special.Every aspect of the hotel was excellent!!! We would highly recommend Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel to anyone visiting Rhodes and would love to return.
