Lindos Grand Resort & Spa

Lindos Grand Resort & Spa is one of those places that takes hospitality to another level. From the moment we arrived, the welcome felt completely different from a standard hotel check-in. A lovely member of the team sat with us comfortably in the lobby, completed the check-in personally, and patiently explained the resort and everything available to us. Without us asking, we were upgraded to beautiful rooms with spectacular views over Vlycha Bay and private pools. The resort is built in levels along the hillside, which can seem a little confusing at first, but the hotel’s golf-cart drivers make it effortless and will take you wherever you need to go. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Housekeeping was outstanding, with the rooms serviced twice a day, and every request was handled quickly. A very special thank you to Angelica, the Front Office Manager, who was always smiling, helpful and generous with excellent advice about Lindos and the surrounding area. We would also like to thank Chris and Jonas, our wonderful golf-cart drivers, who were always cheerful and made getting around the resort part of the experience. And a special mention to the lovely lady who welcomed us at check-in, who is also Chris’s partner – she made us feel at home from the very first moment. Another unexpected upgrade was access to the lounge, open from morning until night, where we could stop at any time for a drink, a snack or simply to refresh. This was in addition to the excellent restaurants and the wonderful breakfast. The hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the bay, with easy access to the beach. The combination of the setting, the private pools, the service and, above all, the people made this a stay we will remember. We felt completely at home and will definitely return. If you are coming to Rhodes and want a higher level of hospitality, I highly recommend staying here for at least five days.

This is such a difficult review to write, and I so wanted to give it five stars. On the face of it, the hotel is fabulous - the rooms are spotlessly clean, well designed and spacious. The public spaces are excellent, and on the whole the staff are exemplary in their hard work, friendliness and politeness. Again, the standard of food at breakfast is excellent. We were B&B basis so did not try the restaurants in the evening as we always dined out locally or in Lindos. However, and for us it was a big however, our room was adjacent to the neighbouring hotel (Lindos Royal, and part of the same hotel chain), and their evening entertainment music blasted out very loudly until 11pm. Therefore, no chance of sleeping before 11pm if you like to go to bed earlyish. In addition, the room only had a partial sea view, the other part looking over the rear of next door's accommodation. Therefore, my tip - avoid room 1211 or any near it. The other issue, and perhaps more annoying, was the beach sunbed arrangements. The sunbeds are great, the beach is great and the view is great. But again spoiled by the adjacent sunbeds from Lindos Royal, who insist on sending their entertainment team to the beach each day with a suitcase sized music system and blasting that out all day. Maybe it's just me getting old, but my idea of chilling on the beach is to read a book and sunbathe in peace and take in the wonderful sea views. Top tips; Supermarket just down the road from the hotel Great car rental next to the supermarket, with no excesses to pay (HB Rentals) Great restaurants further down Vlycha beach are Gaea and Azzurro (highly recommended for lunch or dinner) Visit the Acropolis in Lindos early in the morning before the queues Visit the Rhodes Old Town early in the morning before the crowds In summary, great hotel but not peaceful, so sadly we won't be returning again.

My partner and I stayed at the Lindos Grand in June, and after leaving a review based on that experience, I felt it was only fair to provide an update following our return visit in September. It is safe to say that the team at the Lindos Grand went above and beyond to make our second stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to Aggeliki for helping to arrange everything so thoughtfully. We travelled with elderly relatives who have mobility issues, the hotel took this into careful consideration when allocating our rooms. We were given adjacent rooms overlooking the gardens and pool area, which were not only beautiful but also ideally located, allowing our relatives easy access to all the hotel's amenities. The housekeeping team were friendly, attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The pool staff worked incredibly hard throughout our stay and were equally welcoming, with no request ever seeming too much trouble. I also celebrated my birthday during our visit, a wonderful surprise awaited me when we returned to our room after breakfast. The thoughtful gesture from the hotel was truly touching, and I was genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness shown. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. George, the General Manager, always took the time to stop for a chat whenever we saw him. We found him approachable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, which added a personal touch to our stay. The restaurant team, particularly Harry and Nicos, were exceptional. Their professionalism and friendliness stood out and on several evenings we found ourselves heading downstairs simply to enjoy a drink and their company. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. The staff truly make this hotel special, complemented by its excellent location and convenient proximity to Lindos, Pefkos and Lardos. Should we return to Rhodes in the future, there is no doubt that we would choose to stay at the Lindos Grand again.

We had a fantastic trip. The hotel is lovely and of course the infinity pool a great addition. The staff are wonderful, we enjoyed the buggy drivers chats! Reception are lovely, friendly and professional ( shout out to Maria) we received lots of beach tips for our travels! The management team are friendly and very approachable. The food is unquestionably good and plentiful. You may see some critique in other reviews, just a little clarification. We visited towards the end of the season and I argue most hotels would have some maintenance due. The reviews mentioning the cats do make you think the hotel maybe overun , it is not! There are a few cats outside the dining area - if you visit Lindos you will see far more in a pace than you see here. Yes, the beach is stony as many are in the area, but you should have seen this in your research! I agree that the lighting in the dining area could be adjusted for evening service to make it a little different but you can always eat outside on the veranda! We had a private pool room and a gorgeous view. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return! We also used the spa and found the staff excellent. I am a little confused by reviews critising the costs but have never been to a spa where treatments are free!
