We stayed here for a week in early October. The room was an updated double. We requested a non ground floor room as I like to enjoy time on the balcony in relative peace and privacy. Unfortunately we were allocated to a ground floor room - 27. The room is nicely furnished and was very clean but to access it means going down a narrow passage which is poorly lit at night. The patio door had a large crack in the bottom glass panels and the patio area was really dark due to being partially sunken and in an enclosed area. The corner got sun for 5 minutes a day and it took 3 days for my bikini to dry. The room looked out onto the raised garden area, the front doors of the opposite rooms plus the car park.It was gloomy and cool. I would not recommend this room to anybody staying late season. The hotel itself is lovely. It is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. The pools are nice and the view of Lindos and the Acropolis from the dining room are amazing. We stayed half board. As vegetarians we enjoyed the breakfast - yoghurt, cereals, toast and a variety of hot items. Avoid the fruit juice if you dislike sugary concoctions. My husband really enjoyed the cheese pies and spinach pies. The only criticism would be that I had slices or orange on 2 days which I could not eat as they tasted of onion - either from the use of the same knife or the hands of one of the kitchen staff. Evening meals were not nearly as nice for vegetarians. There was always a variety of salad items but hot food was very restricted. Pasta every night. One night there was stir fried vegetables and sweet and sour sauce however that was the night that the rice contained meat so it had to be eaten with chips or pasta. That seemed to lack forethought. Another night there was ratatouille. But all in all the dinner fare was very repetitive and boring for those who do not eat meat or fish. On our last night we just needed a change and ate a wonderful vegan moussaka in T-veg just off the square in Lindos. To sum up the hotel is lovely and the views amazing. I doubt I would return though after our evening meal and allocated room experience. I note on previous reviews vegetarian options were criticised and the hotel commented that they would try and address this. Sadly that is not evident to date
I absolutely LOVED this hotel. It was a stunning boutique hotel. The Greek design was fabulous. I don't think I could find another hotel of this standard for the same price. The service was excellent. Food was great although desserts were limited I definitely didn't go hungry. I always make a point of trying a new destination every trip but this is one hotel I would like to return to. The cab driver told me it had the best views of the castle and Lindos. He wasn't wrong. It looked awesome lit up at night. It is however a VERY steep walk downhill to Lindos town. But its only 10 minutes away. Taxis are everywhere if don't fancy the trek up.
Had a week at this hotel and really enjoyed it. Rooms were large and clean. Bathroom had a bath and shower so nice to have the option. Grounds and pools were spotless. We only stopped bed and breakfast, breakfast was good, plenty of choice and hot. Snacks from the pool bar were very good. We did pay one night to have the evening buffet meal but we wasn't impressed. Not much choice and luke warm, it was later on in the evening but for the price you should be able to turn up later rather than arrive the second the restaurant opens to be guaranteed a hot meal. Location of the hotel is great, small supermarket and bus stops a two minute stroll away. The hotel is equidistant from Lindos village itself. Turn left out of the hotel and you can walk down to the square and main beach, turn right and you arrive at the opposite end of the village and St. Pauls Bay. All in all a nice holiday, only thing we'd change is to not leave it so late in October to visit. We had a few heavy showers and in Lindos village some of the bars and shops have already closed for the season, the hotel was fully functioning though.
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly pleased, room was very nice and spotless, as for the breakfasts & dinners, absolutely delicious with plenty of choice, fresh & hot, as good as 5 star hotels without a doubt !! The staff always have a happy smile all day everyday, and interact with you in a friendly way, keep it up, & will return one day !!
I really don’t know how to begin this review and do justice to this wonderful hotel. We returned last week after our 2nd stay in Lindos View and already planning the next trip. Everything about this beautiful hotel is excellent. First the place is so clean with 2 beautiful pools and plenty of comfortable sunbeds and beautifully paved paths and shrubs. Have stayed in a newly refurbished room and this time a family room and both were huge, spotless and so comfortable. Only slight negative for me this time was the shower over the bath as afraid of slipping but that’s just me. The beds were changed every other day and towels changed every day if requested. The lady who cleaned our room was so friendly and always a cheery kalimera. The restaurant was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and at breakfast and dinner there was a huge selection of hot and cold foods to suit every taste all overseen by Thomas and Dennis. On the morning of my birthday Thomas and Katarina brought me out a little cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. Such a very special touch. Food was very tasty, beautifully presented and plentiful. The foyer of the hotel and downstairs areas are stunning and all spotless. A little spa was opened this year but I didn’t get the chance to try. Reception staff can’t do enough for you and always greet you with a cheery Kalimera/Kalispera. The bar area again is indoor and outdoor beautifully designed and has an extensive range of drinks and wines. Super staff run it. Great menu for lunchtime and very tasty dishes served. Saving the best thing about Lindos View to the last ….. the staff! I cannot praise them enough they are without doubt the friendliest, happiest hotel staff we’ve ever encountered without exception. I’m afraid to single people out as I am afraid to leave anyone out. They have all been working since April and are still smiling and just want to make your stay special. A huge thank you to each and every one of you, enjoy your rest next month you truly deserve it and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026. In the meantime we’ll enjoy our coffees in our Lindos View mugs you gave us as a gift leaving, another lovely gesture.
