Just home from a short 4 night stay with my 19 year old daughter. We had a a great holiday. Hotel is well positioned 5 minute walk in to town with loads of shops, mini super markets and entertainment. 2 beaches within 10 minutes walk. Kolympia beach was stoney which we didn't like as made it tricky getting in and out of the sea but st Nicolas bay was beautiful and sandy sea was a nice temperature too. Wooden sunbeds with mattresses were charged at £20 euros for 2 inc the umbrella all day which i thought was reasonable of we hired paddle boards there also. Hotel itself was fine. It could do with some renovation to the furniture in the rooms and the mattresses are rock hard (I asked if it was possible to get softer mattresses and they agreed and replaced them and the replacements were a flight improvement). The pool needs some tiles replacing and the sunbeds are the aluminium ones with the plastic netting which were a step up from the hard plastic ones but I would have expected mattresses at a 4 star hotel. There were plenty of sunbeds and never had a problem getting a prime position at 9am before breakfast. The Gyros rooftop snack bar was brilliant and the pizza snack bar which were both open all afternoon were great. Buffet restaurant was average with not that much choice, they did have a Mexican night and a Chinese night whilst we were there which we enjoyed. Coctails are OK typical all inclusive. The spirits in the coctails don't seem very strong and the menue was a bit like limited. There is however beer and wine on tap that you can help yourself too all day and night in the entertainment area along with hot drinks and pop. Bottled water was not availed anywhere for free on site you get given 2 bottles in your fridge in your room on arrival and that's it, we went to reception to ask for more and were told we couldn't have any but could buy some from the little supermarket on site for 1.50 euros which really annoyed me on the first day. We found that the closest tourist supermarket in town sells refrigerated large bottles of water for 0.40 euros so stocked up there. Evening entertainment was fun and entertainment staff work really hard and were lovely. Weather was prefect 31 degrees every day with clear sky's. Evenings were comfortable temperature and it wasn't humid at all. We had a great time but this is a 3 star hotel not 4 in my opinion.
