Meliton

Lovely quiet hotel. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) first impressions were it was very clean and this continued for our weeks stay! Bar and restaurant area constantly cleaned and poolside area kept clean with daily maintenance evident every day. No problem getting a sun lounger at any time of day at either pool. We enjoyed the quiet pool but the teenagers obviously preferred the main pool where they could jump in and splash around. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed Greek night. We were apprehensive about the food before we came, but what I can say is though as it is a small hotel the options can seem limited, everything was well cooked and freshly prepared. There are 2 entertainment nights per week, Tuesday (karaoke) and Saturday (Greek dancing and Greek food)- personally I would have preferred just one extra entertainment night during the week, but it was still lovely to sit out in the evening and chat to others on their holiday. It is in a more remote location, the daily bus to the beach was good, a taxi down to Billy’s bar area ( we do recommend a visit here) was €12 All in all it was a lovely stay- perfect if you just want to relax without the hustle and bustle of larger all inclusive resorts. The Meliton hotel is a lovely hotel and has nice staff, we had a great time however the food was absolutely terrible, we ate out most nights. Most of the sunbeds were broken,. there were time frames during the day for when you could eat and drink types of alcohol, cocktail hour was just juice mixed with vodka. The hotel is located approximately a 20 minute walk from restaurants and a 30 minute drive from the old town which was great. We also did not realize that you had to pay for AC, this was not clear when booking. The transfers to and from the airport was good, the room was slightly disappointing but you can't expect much from a 3*. The entertainment was a bit rubbish, on the other hand the pool was refreshing but far too small to cater for everyone. Overall the stay was mediocre but the local area was great and the drinks were okay.

very good hotel, very clean, the bar and shop staff made the holiday so great especially Honey, she was just so lovely and so were the rest. The room itself was very clean and very comfortable, i highly recommend this place if youre looking for a relaxing holiday!

Just back today from our holiday. This is an honest review! The only downside to this hotel is the food. Apart from that the staff, the rooms the pool areas are 5/5! Very clean and you can’t fault the cleaning service of the rooms. Fresh towels and bed making service daily. 20/30 minute into the town but lovejy food at Billy’s. And the sunset on the beach is amazing! I would go back to this hotel again but maybe not as an all inclusive. Greek night was really funny as was the karaoke night ! We hired a car and went into the old town and that was lovely too… All in all we would definitely visit here again.

Meliton Hotel is a beautiful hotel, we had room 47 and it was lovely. It's a very peaceful hotel if your looking for a quiet stay. You are in the middle of the countryside, there is a very small town about a 30 minute walk which we did one evening but got a taxi back as the lighting to walk back to the hotel is quite poor through a lane. The beach is a pebble beach which wasn't for us so we hired a car and drove to faliraki beach 30 minute drive much better beach. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but the really downfall for us was the food, not much choice at all I understand its a small hotel but I've never been to a hotel with such lack of food choice to be honest. On our booking providers website it stated a snack bar this hotel does not have a snack bar so if it's published on your booking providers website it's totally not true. The lack of food is the only thing that let's this hotel down.
