Meliton

Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food is awful, not worth it for all inclusive. Only couple choices and is not even tasty. It was our worst all inclusive, didn't expect it will be in Rhodes.

The Rural setting of the family run, Meliton Hotel, which is surrounded by olive groves and farmer's fields makes it perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. It is a 15-20 minutes walk away from the nearest tavernas, bars and other hotels which most guests appreciate. Unfortunately some guests are miss-sold this holiday and finding it too quiet for their liking try to liven things up, disturbing the guest who came seeking a bit of peace and quiet. The evening entertainment is twice a week, other evenings guest socialise with one another, play card games etc or take a trip out. There are no lifeguards and no children's club, but there is a tennis court, bike hire (pedal and electric), 2 pools, ping pong, air hockey, and a pool table. The hotel and grounds are kept clean and well maintained, all in all an extremely enjoyable holiday.

Avoid this hotel unless you want to spend a fortune eating out. We have stayed at plenty of budget hotels before, but our experience at The Meliton Hotel was incredibly stressful, disappointing, and easily the worst "all-inclusive" we have ever experienced. We will not be returning. • Arrival & Extra Fees: We arrived late to find absolutely no food or drinks available, forcing us to buy a shop-bought pizza from the bar for €10. There wasn't even water in the room. We had to buy it from the hotel's on-site supermarket, where we were ripped off multiple times with different prices for the exact same items. To make matters worse, we had to pay an extra €49 for air conditioning, which is unacceptable for an all-inclusive stay. • The Room & Cleaning: The room itself was okay, clean, and tidy. However, the maid service was bare-minimum. While the beds were made, the bathroom wasn't touched at all—leftover soap and toothpaste were left on the sink the entire time. • Terrible & Unedible Food: The food was cold, bland, repetitive, and there was nothing for my daughter to eat. We were served rubbery spaghetti with no sauce, fish in a bizarre jelly, and the only dessert options were tiny pots of jelly or pink mousse. The only fruit available at any meal was mouldy melon and old grapes. • Highly Restrictive Drinks & Snacks: I have never seen such a restrictive all-inclusive policy. "Cocktail hour" consisted of one mystery coloured liquid mixed with cheap vodka. I asked for a latte and was told only black or white coffee was allowed. Snacks were non-existent except for stale cookies that were strictly time-restricted. I tried to get a cookie at 16:25 and was rudely turned away because it didn't start until 16:30. This trip was meant to be a budget-friendly holiday, but because the food and hospitality were so poor—and some of the staff and owners were quite rude—we ended up spending a fortune eating out. I’ve been to lots of budget all inclusive hotels and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had. Save your money and completely avoid this place.

The location for this hotel is quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing time away - this is perfect. Travelling is possible although might be more difficult and time consuming if you rely on the bus. Only a 20 minute walk from the beach and places to eat. The atmosphere at this hotel was really relaxed, it is perfect for couples, and even friends, however if you are a larger group wanting a party atmosphere, or have young children you may find it too quiet. Our room was everything we needed, a double bed, a fridge, bathroom, and a really lovely sized balcony. It also came with a small TV, however we did not feel the need to use it. It's basic, but everything you need. The value when you look at the prices are very very good, we personally thought we got more than what we paid for - around £650 each for 10 days of all inclusive is fantastic. The hotel itself was very very clean, staff were always doing bits of cleaning around and you could tell they work hard in maintaining it. I must note as well how amazing staff were, always polite and very good service. You get what you pay for and all of the information about how all inclusive drinks work is on the site and they do tell you all this at the front desk when you come in.

We arrived in the middle of the night and wasn't sure about the location as its quite remote... we're at the end of the week and we've had a lovely time. The staff are so helpful, pleasant and even after twisting my ankle the owner of the hotel took me to the pharmacy and waited for me. The weather has been amazing! We did the local beach, Rhodes town by bus a couple of times and boat trip to Symi which was fabulous! Savvas and Tottis always helpful and friendly at the bar... Reception will always go above and beyond to help, arrange your trips, arrange car rental, whatever you need. We haven't enough time to do everything but its been amazing!!! 💖
