Really nice location with beach across the road! Plenty of supermarkets and a few places to eat! The food in the hotel in general was excellent. We had a swim up room and loved this with sun loungers on the balcony and a relatively quiet pool! This saved the rush for sunbeds that did look a little tired around the other pools. The staff were fantastic and very attentive! My only gripe with the hotel were the poor quality of drinks! Despite bring all inclusive we found ourselves going out in the evening as many if the drinks such as wine , Gin & Vodka were not drinkable and very poor! Soft drinks were fine! Overall a great holiday but with a few tweaks and a couple of upgrades (sunbeds around main pool & alcohol) this would be a smack g hotel for families and couples alike!

This is an honest review. We booked oceanis park hotel based on the good reviews we read. We travelled as a four generations family with ages ranging from 6yrs to 86yrs. We booked 5 weeks before our holiday in August so understandably there was limited availability. We booked 2 shared swim up rooms one for myself and husband and the other for my dad who is a single traveler. We were able to book the shared swim up room for my 41yr daughter and 6yr granddaughter but the TUI travel agent wasn't sure why the 3rd book couldn't be booked. She said maybe it was for safety reasons for children, but we were told that my granddaughter could use the pool at the shared swim up rooms. So we booked the 3rd room as a sea view. It was going to be my daughter's birthday while we were away so we was really looking forward to it. We arrived at the hotel at approx 10pm and the entertainment was in full swing and very loud singing. My daughter's room was directly above this entertainment area. She went to reception and requested a different room saying this noise would keep her child awake. The receptionist said oh it finishes at 10.30pm!!! She said see how you feel in the morning. The next morning my daughter went back to reception and asked again to be moved. She was told the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. However we soon realised people were leaving and arriving from different countries every day of the week. So there would have been rooms becoming available all the time. We soon realised that the sunbeds around the main pool were reserved very early in the morning, by 7am there wasn't anything left with any shade. On our 1st day my husband went around to the shated swim up pool but all the sunbeds were reserved. So we were getting up for the first 3 days at 6.30am to get sunbeds by the main pool which by the way are the most uncomfortable I've ever had. I then spoke to a lady who was also staying in a swim up rooms and she informed me that we actually had 2 sunbeds for each of our 2 shared swim up rooms allocated to us. You can imagine the shock to hear this as the hotel hadn't informed us of this and it's not stated anywhere in the brochure. So on our 4 day we went around as a family to use the 4 sunbeds that were allocated to our rooms. We were enjoying the pool when 2 members of staff came around asking us what rooms we had, and asked us to leave as my granddaughter wasn't allowed to use this pool. We refused to leave as upon booking we were told my granddaughter could use this pool. Later that day I received a phone call to my room saying my granddaughter couldn't use this pool as this area was for adults and over 15yrs only. I explained we were mislead and miss sold these rooms, but the TUI rep said he couldn't do anything to help us. So we were back to getting up at 6.30am to get sunbeds around the main pool. My daughter would take my granddaughter for a nap in the afternoons as she was being kept awake later due to the location of her room. On the 5 day of our holiday which was the 2nd time we'd used the shared swim up pool myself and my husband were in the pool when again 2 members of staff came around asking what rooms we were in as they'd had a phone call from another guest saying we weren't supposed to be in this area. I told them our rooms numbers and they left. This treatment continued another 4 times, we were questioned in front of all the other guests, we were humiliated and embarrassed. I spoke to the manager who said these were random checks but this wasn't true as every afternoon when we went to lay on our sunbeds there were other people using these beds and we had to ask them to leave. I made a complaint to the manager of the hotel and to the TUI rep about the treatment we had received and I made it clear I felt there was definitely biased towards me and my family but I don't know why. I asked for a part refund on the swim up rooms as we weren't able to enjoy the service from these rooms that we had paid for. The rep took 4 days to look into my complaint and offered me a £50 voucher off my next holiday. I refused this offer. So the next day I started taking photos around the hotel to support the complaint I was going to make once I got home. The rep approached me saying the manager were happy that I had taken photos and wanted them deleted as I was on private property. I refused this request. The manager were watching me and my family and we were miss treated in a way I've never experienced in all my years of travelling. This hotel is definitely not a 4* at best it's 2/3* The food was ok, very salty. There isn't any children's section on the buffet, although the restaurant manager Antia was wonderful. The AI drinks are awful, so sweet. The cocktails are pre made in a jug. There is no comfort here at all. You can only change the pool towels once a week, bed sheets changed once a week, room towels changed twice a week. The main pool was only cleaned twice in 2 weeks and this was after people complained. The pool boy doesn't enforce the no reservation of sunbeds, people would put theirs towels down at 6.30am and not use the beds until the afternoon. The pool boy is also extremely rude. The evening seating was hard plastic chairs and if you weren't there by 8pm you couldn't get a seat. There was a glass partition that had a cracked in it from top to bottom and when I mentioned this to the rep he said he wasn't maintenance!!! I was also told by the rep "it's a 4* for Greece" what ever that means but they are charging 140 euros tourist tax per room for 2 weeks which is 4* rate. To the side of the hotel is a building site. The hotel is on a busy main road. There's very little outside the hotel, a few bars and restaurants but there was road works. The beach is awful and the sea not child friendly at all. We paid a lot of money to stay at a 4* hotel but unfortunately didn't receive what we paid for. So as I said at the start we booked the oceanis park hotel based on the good reviews but honestly I wonder how genuine these reviews are. I would avoid this hotel at all costs, please don't waste your hard earned money here. There are much nicer places to go

I stayed at Oceanis Park in Rhodes with friends and had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the facilities are nice, and it’s a good place to relax and have fun with friends. But the animation team was definitely the highlight of our stay! They were energetic, friendly, and always made an effort to involve everyone without being pushy. There were activities throughout the day, and the evening entertainment was especially fun. You could really see how much effort and passion the team put into creating a good atmosphere for the guests. A special thank you to the whole animation team — you made our holiday much more memorable! If you’re looking for a hotel where you can both relax and have fun, I would definitely recommend Oceanis Park. 🌴☀️🎭
