Oceanis Park

We came on holiday in October out of the holidays. We had the most amazing time as a family. Food: We found lots of variety of food, some better than others. Deserts are a bit hit and miss. Loved the fresh salad and the fruit and yogurt for breakfast. Drinks: Lots of bad reviews about the cocktails and alcohol however I found it is just standard all inclusive. When you stay in 5* the quality jumps up a lot. Rooms: We were a family of 2 adults and a baby and found our room a little small as we had lots of stuff. Beds were very soft for my liking. Cleaning: I found the cleaning was more of a 3* standard. Towels changed twice the week and bed changed once. Bins were emptied but the bathroom was not cleaned or the floors. Sun-beds: That is an issue. Look out of the Balcony and by 7 am all the sun beds has towels on but no people. We liked to have chilled morning so this meant we had no sun-beds so we sat on chairs till some became available. Staff: Some staff are better than others. All bar staff are lovely. Entertainment staff are a bit odd. The restaurant staff are incredible and work very hard. It was my birthday when we stayed and the restaurant manager had laid the table and had a lovely bottle of Prosecco and fresh cake. I think to make the hotel even better. Table service would have been great. Slightly better evening entertainment. I would say if you are a family with toddlers and children upwards, there is nothing for them to do so would not recommend. Overall it was a lovely stay but somewhere you visit once.

We are sad to be leaving this amazing hotel. Hotel is spotlessly clean, staff work so hard with a welcoming smile. Plenty of choice of food in the buffet restaurant, with fresh food coming out constantly. This takes me to the amazing and wonderful Anita, Manager - what a lady, she goes above and beyond, with friendly, welcoming smile and a welcoming touch. There was a time that I wanted some beetroot but there was none so I asked Anita and the next day there was beetroot - this is how far Anita will go to ensure that we, us visitors, have a fabulous holiday. Hotel is located in Ixia, however there are local buses constantly running to Rhodes town/Rhodes Old Town, which is around a 15 minute bus ride. I would recommend this Hotel to anybody, it is clean, staff are really friendly, entertainment staff were fantastic, pools were lovely (there are three to chose from and a children’s pool too) and there are plenty of places within the hotel to eat (we used the buffet). We will definitely be back but this is down to Anita - thank you for making our holiday so lovely. You are wonderful, thank you so much 🩷

We are so disappointed with this hotel. We booked an all-inclusive holiday expecting to relax, enjoy decent food and make the most of our time away, but instead we feel like we have completely wasted our money. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The food is absolutely awful. The same things are served on repeat, despite the hotel advertising themed nights. They might call them themed nights, but the food is essentially the same every time. All the meat seems to have a strong aniseed taste, and even the chips are like cardboard. The quality is genuinely shocking. We have ended up eating out and spending additional money on food despite having paid for all-inclusive, which completely defeats the point. The pool area is just as disappointing. There are nowhere near enough sunbeds for the number of guests, so actually getting one is a struggle. Even when you do manage to get a sunbed, the pool areas only receive sunshine on one half for a few hours, making it difficult to enjoy the sun properly. And if you are lucky enough to get a spot, forget about relaxing. The lifeguards seem to think it is hilarious to blast animal noises through the speakers at full volume every five minutes. There is music for around an hour, and then it turns into childish, irritating behaviour that completely ruins the atmosphere. It is impossible to switch off and relax. The housekeeping situation has been absolutely appalling and, frankly, concerning. On our very first night, we put the do-not-disturb light on because we quite reasonably wanted a lie-in. Despite this, a cleaner walked straight into our room at 8 am without knocking. We were both in bed and not dressed, and when we asked her to leave, she was reluctant to do so. Unfortunately, this was not a one-off incident. It happened repeatedly over the following days, despite us asking her to leave every time. On one occasion, I was on the toilet and she attempted to come into the bathroom. Even when we told her to leave, she would continue further into the room rather than respecting our privacy. The room doors can be locked, but staff can apparently still enter using their key cards, and they do not even have the courtesy to knock first. This continued despite the do-not-disturb light being switched on. It got to the point where we felt we had to set alarms to wake up early and get dressed before housekeeping arrived, simply so we could get out of bed and speak to her. Nobody should have to do this on holiday. Then, on day five, we returned to find that our room had not been cleaned at all, with the do-not-disturb light still on. So, apparently, the light was understood perfectly well when it suited them, but ignored for the first four days when we were trying to have some privacy. The complete lack of respect for guests’ privacy has been one of the worst parts of our stay. The entertainment is also shocking. If you pay extra for a sea-view room, be aware that this can mean getting a front-row seat to the hotel’s entertainment on the front terrace. You pay more for a better view, only to be subjected to horrendously loud entertainment that continues until 11 pm. There is no escaping the noise, and it completely undermines any chance of having a peaceful evening in your room. Overall, there is very little to enjoy here if you want a relaxing holiday. The food is dreadful, the pool area is overcrowded and noisy, the entertainment is poor, and the housekeeping staff have shown a shocking disregard for guests’ privacy. We are genuinely gutted that we have spent our money on this hotel. An all-inclusive holiday should mean being able to enjoy the food, facilities and comfort without constantly having to spend extra money, put up with unnecessary noise or worry about staff walking into your room unannounced. The onsite shop is another complete joke. The prices seem to change constantly, and there is absolutely no consistency in what you are charged. We visited out of season, when a lot of the food items were supposedly 30% off, but that discount only seemed to apply when staff could be bothered to work it out. More often than not, the discount wasn’t applied at all, meaning you ended up paying full price for items that should have been reduced. Even worse, you can buy an item one day and return the next day to find the price has completely changed. There seems to be no consistency whatsoever, and you never know what you are actually going to end up paying. It is frustrating having to question prices and check whether discounts have been applied when you are staying at a hotel and simply want a straightforward shopping experience. Between the awful all-inclusive food forcing us to eat elsewhere and the lack of transparency in the onsite shop, it feels like you are constantly spending extra money just to get through your holiday. Save your money. If you want good food, a relaxing poolside experience, privacy and a peaceful night’s sleep, I would not recommend this hotel.

My very happy place .returned to oceanis park hotel for the 2nd time this year .another amazing stay the food is amazing such a wonderful amount of choice .Anita and her staff make the restraunt run so smoothly they always greet you with a smile and are so polite and friendly .it is a pleasure to go for your meals .can't wait to return next year .

The location was good, with plenty of shops nearby and free parking both at the hotel and close to it. The atmosphere was wonderful! All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were a little small, but perfectly comfortable and spacious enough for us. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, from amazing gyros to tasty pizza! Every evening there was a themed dinner, and our favourites were Greek cuisine and the barbecue night. We really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and were very happy with our choice. We would definitely love to come back again in the future! 😊
