Oceanis

Stayed as a couple with friends for 11 nights. Room - we had a standard room on the ground floor. Was a little concerned at first as it was facing the seating area, but wasn’t too bad. The main gripe was having to put up with the smokers right outside the room. Hotel could really do with an outside non smoking area. Room quite often smelt musty, We had glass water bottles provided by the hotel which you could refill. Not very hygienic as we never saw the maid putting freshly cleaned bottles in the rooms so can only presume they got a rinse out in the rooms instead of being clean properly when guests changed. Food Had some really lovely food with a good choice each day. I’m gluten free and the food for your main meal was clearly labelled Gluten Free. Spyros the restaurant manager was always happy to help, you can ask for gluten free bread and muffins. (No gluten free toaster available though). I even asked for-cereal one day, Spyros asked in the kitchen, he advised I could eat the normal cornflakes as they were made from corn. I did explain that this did not mean they were gluten free. The next day when I went for breakfast, Spyros appeared with a box of gluten free cornflakes. You couldn’t as for better service. At the snack bar they also had gluten free muffins and biscuits, you just had to ask Bar Dimitri- every time we went to the bar he was already pouring our drink, it was just a shame that the drink was such poor quality and very little choice. Not you standard All inclusive choices. Entertainment Some of the acts we quite good but we just fount Babou very load, he spoke so fast you could barely understand him. Pools Only sat around the main pool once, as there were four of us, it was hopeless trying to get four beds unless you were up early. Noticed people reserving beds then not be en using them. Adult pool, this is a lovely area and very peaceful The hotel was spotless and staff we always friendly. Beach Small section of pebble beach, make sure you have your beach shoes. Some days it was quite rough so you do need to be careful getting in and out. There are no facilities so you do have to cross the main road back to the hotel if you want drinks or the toilet. Trips We booked a boat trip to Lindas with the tour shop opposite the FBI bar. Great prices and very helpful. As there were 4 of us, we also took a taxi to the old town. Cost 15 Euro, try to have the right money as one guy was quite annoyed when I asked for my 5euro change. Places to eat FBI - lovely staff, great service, food good and very accommodating with gluten free options All in all the hotel was ok, but would not stay again.

Bobou was brilliant and very friendly. Hotel was amazing spotless. Had amazing time thank you again will be back some time. 😀

Great hotel, Babou was the star of the hotel, made us feel so welcome and constantly entertained.

Had a really lovely time away. I can’t remember the guys name for the activities like darts but he made everyday fun. Always had a smile on his face and liked to have a joke with everyone. The atmosphere was great! Such a different experience being away and being able to play darts to win a prize.

Great atmosphere. Entertainment is frequent and very fun. The entertainment staff are very friendly and funny and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
