Marina was the most wonderful and caring staff member. She was very helpful for me needing gluten free food. She was very positive and made my stay. She was very caring.

The beach and sea were beautiful, perfect for a swim. One tip: bring swim shoes, as they’ll make getting in and out of the sea much more comfortable! The food and drinks were great, with a good variety of options. We particularly enjoyed the traditional Greek dishes available every evening, alongside international choices such as pasta and stews, so there was something for everyone. The drinks menu was also extensive, with plenty of cocktails, aperitifs and other options to choose from. It was lovely to have such a good selection rather than the usual limited all-inclusive drinks menu. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, always friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the night porter, who went out of his way to make sure we could get a drink when we arrived close to midnight. After a late arrival, that level of thoughtfulness was really appreciated! The location of the hotel was excellent, 5 to 10 mins walk to a good selection of shops, restaurants & bars. Bus stop outside hotel with good service to Rhodes town and Lindos. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. Beautiful sea views, lovely food, an excellent drinks selection, a gorgeous beach and welcoming staff made for a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend Paralos Rhodes and cant wait to return!

Unfortunately, we left feeling very disappointed, as the hotel experience was definitely not what had been advertised. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the advertised activities, including water pool games and aqua gym. However, when we arrived, we were told these activities were not allowed because “the manager doesn’t like it.” This was extremely frustrating. If activities are being used to advertise and sell the hotel, guests should be able to expect them to actually take place. You cannot advertise one type of holiday and then simply decide not to provide it once guests have arrived. The hotel may suit people looking for an extremely quiet holiday, particularly an older clientele, but that should be made clear when booking. We certainly would have chosen somewhere else had we known beforehand. Second day in, My daughter’s room had a leak with water pooling on the floor, at first they just offered additional towels to mop up the water. They said they were full and unable to move her. Due to my daughter being pregnant, I was concerned that she might slip and when I explained this, they suddenly found a room available. We also paid extra for rooms with private pools, only to find that our pool area received no sun at all. This made paying the additional cost feel like a complete waste of money and is something guests should be made aware of before upgrading. To be fair, the food was good and there were aspects of the hotel that we liked. However, things went from bad to worse on our final day when a storm hit and rooms started flooding. While obviously the hotel cannot control the weather, the flooding added to what was already a disappointing experience. Our biggest issue is the difference between what this hotel advertises and what it actually provides. We booked and paid based on the facilities, activities and experience being promoted. Had the hotel been accurately represented, we would not have chosen it or paid extra for the private pool room. For us, this was definitely not the holiday we thought we were booking, and sadly we would not return.

We were very disappointed with the hotel; upon arrival, we weren't given the room we had booked and had to spend the night in a different, poor-quality room—clearly, it was a case of overbooking, yet they lied to us, claiming the room hadn't been prepared in time. The next day, in the afternoon, they moved us to a room with a fold-out bed, even though we had booked a twin’s bed room. They promised to move us again, but the new, the third one room was also very poor—located right next to the air conditioning units for all the neighboring rooms, and the noise was terrible. The folding bed was uncomfortable, and I could feel a metal crossbar digging into my back. They promised an extra mattress but didn't provide one until I personally asked the cleaning staff. Our room was next to a metal door leading to an outdoor corridor; the door was broken—it wouldn't close properly and scraped against the concrete floor, making a terrible noise. We had to ask for urgent repairs, which were finally carried out after a day. The door kept slamming, and since the hotel has absolutely no soundproofing, the wall shook every time it closed. People smoked in the outdoor corridor, and the smoke drifted into our room—it was a nightmare. The bathroom tap was faulty; the water barely trickled out, so we had to unscrew the nozzle just to get a decent flow—by then, we didn't want to ask the staff for anything else. I must admit the staff were pleasant, but that didn't solve any of the problems. It’s very easy to be polite and smile while doing nothing else. The hotel has been renovated, but it’s clear the work was superficial—basically just a fresh coat of paint. There were too few sun loungers; every morning, we had to rush to claim one, or else there wouldn't be any left by the sea or the pool. That said, it was reasonably clean—both in the rooms and on the grounds. The food was decent and fairly varied. However, the wine from the dispensers was terrible quality.

It was our second time at this hotel this year. The service was very good (check-in, check-out, room cleanliness, choice of meals....). The staff was very helpful and friendly (the boys in the bar even remembered us from our last stay). We enjoyed our stay, and will try to come back again next year. Newly, we appreciated receiving the beach/pool towels in the room. It is fantastic that the hotel maintains the same standard of service throughout the season. The staff and the private beach represent this hotel.
