Rhodos Horizon City

An excellent "adults only" hotel. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. An extensive spread of excellent food for breakfast. Evening meals can be purchased at the restaurant later in the day. It is worth paying the extra for a "sea view" which overlooks the roofs of the close nearby buildings and has views over the harbour. There is a pool and gym but I did not use either. The hotel is in a convenient position within a short walking distance to the harbours, the old town and museums. One downside was the (beautiful) marble floors which, when not kept dry in wet weather, can be extremely slippery and dangerous.

Tucked away just from the harbour in Rhodes town this hotel offers the perfect place to stay whilst visiting the area. True, we went at the end of the season when the hotel was only partially full but the service received was first class. Our room was comfortable and it included the normal tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and plenty of storage space. The bathroom had just a shower and hand soap and shower gel included. The breakfast was buffet style, but with plenty of options available. We had most of our evening meals in the hotel as the food was well presented at reasonable prices. The prices in the bar again were also reasonable and there were two happy hour evenings on cocktails only. The staff were all friendly and approachable which made for a nice relaxed atmosphere. The only small complaint was that the housekeeping could have been a little better, but that did not take anything away from a really enjoyable stay.

One excellent experience. The reception was very polity and helpful. The rooms was very clean and the breakfast it was very very good with huge variety.

We loved our time at Rhodos Horizon. We picked based on the reviews, and they are accurate. This is an exceptional hotel. We were offered a glass of prosecco on arrival. The staff (reception, bar, dining, cleaning) are all very polite and accommodating. It wasn't noisy and all guests were considerate of each other. The breakfast was extensive - more than we imagined. Our room was clean and tended to every day if needed. The bar, dining and outside terrace is great and the road is not too busy so nice to sit on the terrace with a coffee. The food was very good quality and the service very attentive and speedy. We were able to leave our luggage for the day due to a later flight. The location is amazing - easy to get to anything in the locality which was good as we were based there for the duration of our stay. The pool area was good - if you go in October be aware of the path of the sun as it doesn't really hit the pool most of the time (it was chilly!), but great to 'lounge' by and read. There are some supermarkets on the street which we used to top up our mini fridge. Would definitely stay there again. We went via Jet2 who were equally efficient and we had good advice from their rep so we got to see the flag lowering on the Sunday!

A superb town centre hotel. Modern, extremely clean with a good restaurant. The breakfast buffet is huge with a large variety of options from a cooked breakfast to fresh fruit and pastries. The staff are welcoming and speak more languages than I ever will. Super helpful too, we were able to book a late check-out on our last day. Everything Rhodes town has to offer is within walking distance if you are good on your legs! A lovely hotel that I highly recommend.
