The Ixian Grand & All Suites

This is my 3rd time staying at the Ixian Grand and will keep coming, year on year, as long as I'm able! The staff are wonderful, the hotel is clean and well presented, the food is absolutely delicious, the rooms are comfortable and clean. This year I used the spa for the first time and was so impressed. I had a neck, shoulder and back massage with Maria, and then later in my stay, a Hot Stone massage with Inna. Both therapists were kind, calming and very good at their jobs. I may even book in another treatment before the end of my stay. My favourite place in the whole world.

Perfectly located right on the beach and only 10minutes by taxi to Rhodes town. Small selection of bars shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Quiet hotel, not a huge amount of entertainment but that suited us, some music by the pool a session of aqua aerobics and live music for a couple of hours in the evening. If you want lively atmosphere it's probably not the place for you, but for us the relaxation and quiet was perfect. We had a room at the back of the hotel, was perfectly adequate, shower excellent, balcony had sun all day and fridge and coffee machine was restocked daily. Hairdryer was provided. Hotel and rooms absolutely spotless. Very clean inside and out. Cleaning service was spot on. Sunbeds in abundance, areas kept nice and clean. Food for an all inclusive was excellent, huge amount of choice at all meal times, option of the snack bar also there. Food did get a bit repetitive but the quality was fantastic, the two evenings a la carte menu was a nice touch, highly recommend the Japanese and the Greek menus. Drinks were good, sometimes quite strong, sometimes not but was able to find a drink we enjoyed, plenty of choice on offer. Delivery to sunbeds was a nice touch and saved you from queuing at the bar constantly. Sea was lovely to swim in, pools absolutely freezing. Spa was expensive, entry point for full body massage at 150€ was a bit much for us to partake so can't comment on that bit. Overall good value for money. Especially if you want a relaxing chill break away.

A lovely location and perfect size. Very chilled atmosphere. The food in the main restaurant was tasty and whilst having similar items daily it also has a nice additional variety each night. Lovely room with awesome steamy shower and jacuzzi bath. All staff were really lovely. The spa was fab; they were so accommodating when we needed to change our booking. The couples massage was divine and Maria was so thoughtful to ensure it suited me. Definitely recommend going!

Had a lovely 3 night stay here, very relaxed and chilled, with good space for the sun beds. View from the room was stunning, we had an ocean view. Food was really good, with staples and variation each night. Highly recommend the spa, Laarni was excellent.

Got here yesterday and had the most amazing meal in the Alazonia restaurant - need a special mention for the amazing couples massage we had with Evgeniia and Maria - both were incredible - friendly, professional and really excellent - please say thank you to them both. I’ll post another review at the end of our break.
