Venezia Resort

We really enjoyed our vacation at the Venezia. The hotel staff was really friendly amd helpful. The women at the reception and espescialky George the restaurant mamager! He and his whole staff are fabulous! Whenever we had special request or questions they helped us right away and always wirh a big smile!

I want to give a special shout out to Cheryl she is a beautiful bar made who does all her duties with an unimprerishabal smile. If she reads this its Olly . Whatever you are paid it needs doubling . The phillipene workers here are second to none. A mother of 5 children who goes over and above for her guests always promising a smile and and a heartfelt how are you while clearing your table or delivering yoyr drinks. Made my stay that much more special. I only hope this review highlights the undeniable effort all the phillipeno staff go to to make all guests stay a dream. Venezia your hidden jewel is not your beautiful views or accommodation but instead your wonderful unappreciated hardworking staff who consistently secure the magic of your resort for your guests. Stayed for 5 nights, as 3 girls in the 20’s. Good points - Free upgraded room. - Receptionists were absolutely lovely, helped us out so much, especially when a passport was left on the coach transfer! - Room was clean and tidy with good air conditioning . - 24/7 Shop in the hotel. - Snack bar had amazing Souvalki. - Buffet was average, with different cuisine each night. - multiple pools, with numerous sun beds, clean and spacious. - 30 minutes walk to Faliraki or 10€ taxi journey - Family orientated entertainment. - 2 restaurant, Greek and Moroccan, one booking per stay. Excellent service and food. - The church at the resort is beautiful, up on a hill, a perfect place to take nice photos and get proposed too in our opinion. Things to be improved - All inclusive drinks are very limited in variety, and own brand fizzy drinks, not actual Coke or Pepsi. - No Rosé available on all inclusive. - Waiting and bar staff not overly chatty, didn’t interact with guest from experience and observation. - Pool opening times are strictly 10 till 6, pools all gated and locked till times. So no pre-reserving of sun beds but have to queue to get to pool in the morning. - All swim up pools are in the shade pretty much all day with no privacy as they are on a main walkway and by the main pool and bar. - All entertainment and Bar closes at 11pm, and will turn off all lights and kick you out just before midnight. - Music is a repetitive YouTube playlist during the day. In the evening the music choice is questionable with strange remix’s in Afro, jazz style. Music was improved after multiple request by us (and because the DJ fancied us). - The real reason for this review - The ‘animation’ team consists of 3 creepy men. They were inappropriate towards not only us but other young girls on holiday including underage. 2 of the entertainment men on chatting to us the first night, asked if we were single, on learning we were all in relationships, one replied saying “we’ll see” and then explained that girls on holiday always say that but don’t stick to it. Anytime after this conversation they still made comments and gestures that made us uncomfortable, talking about our body’s and breasts. We witnessed them getting the social media handles from girls under 18. When friendly after this we struggled to know if they were being genuine or flirting. Made us feel uncomfortable the whole time and after speaking to other girls within the resort seemed to be the general consensus. - Entertainment staff struggled with engagement, and we were told by guests we were better at the entertainment as we engaged everyone in dancing in the evening, after we changed the music. - The dj cannot dj, tried mixing songs but didn’t sync it up well at all.

Absolutely brilliant hotel and leisure facilities. The food and staff were excellent. Highly recommended - make sure to get a room with a jacuzzi for that little bit extra luxury.

We stayed at Venezia for 7 days and enjoyed it very much…. The scenic views from the restaurant were amazing. The food and drink was good.. the food is a bit more better than what you normally get at an all inclusive… hotel is 15 min walk to the beach and shops…. The highlight of our trip had to be the ANIMATION team. RIO and PEDRO!!!!. Both were legends and you could never get bored when being around them…. Each night consisted off different shows and events… personally our favorite was the fire show. Rio and Pedro made our evening ever night and always went back to our room very pleased with what we watched throughout the week… additionally every night there were kids DISCOS every night before the adult entertainment. This made it a good place to visit with young children and families I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come for a family/couple vacation.
