AluaSoul Zakynthos

We visited this wonderful hotel from 22/8 for 11 nights. The food in the buffet was nice with lots of choice. I am gluten free and the manager Alexandre and the chef Theo looked after me really well, nothing was an issue. What makes this hotel so nice are the very friendly staff, Elion, Thomas & Franck at the pool bar, Ola at breakfast, Ana worked like a machine. The entertainment lad (didn't get his name) was great encouraging me to join in the Aqua aerobics even though I walk with a stick. Watching the afternoon water polo was so funny and great entertainment. The evening entertainment was brilliant especially the saxophone player - just amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel for an adult only experience. One last shout out to the manager Alexandre who really went out of his way to ensure we were having a fantastic holiday. We hope to return once I'm 'fixed' !!

Really pleased with the hotel as a whole, glad we paid the extra for my favourite club as it gets you a better overall experience and room. Disappointed that the minibar didn’t get restocked even though I requested it twice and said I didn’t mind paying. If you like your drinks the bar staff are fantastic. LOL out for Tony Negroni!! X

A wonderful slice of paradise on the zakynthos coast. The facilities are well maintained, the staff happy and helpful, the food tasty and varied. Just be aware that the infinity pools, à la carte restaurant and premium drinks are not part of standard all inclusive. You must upgrade to my favourite club. I don’t know what the rooms are like as we only had the choice to get day passes for the area but if you can afford it, do it!

Firstly... Tourist tax! We stayed 7 nights & was charged €70 in tourist tax. Which after spending almost £4,000 to have a holiday there was very, very sneaky. 2 single beds in a double swim-up room for our honeymoon, really! Evening restaurant - If you're lucky to get in, then yes it's ok. We saw the same couples in there every evening but, when we tried to get in, the only evening they could do it was the night before we left. Bar & waiting staff were brilliant but had no control of who gets in.

All staff were so pleasant. Food was always good and plenty of choice. Being part of My Favourite Club was worth the little extra cost. The room was very clean albeit a bit tired. Overall had a really good holiday.
