Aqua Deluxe

Wanted to love this hotel but so many factors went against it. During the entire week stay, we did not stay by the Deluxe pool due to the towel reservers being out in force at the crack of dawn. We had to use either the pool at the front of main reception on the ant infested grass or the waterpark every day. This was a huge disappointment. We walked past at various different times of day going back and forth to the room and it was never overly busy, just a sea of towels. The next downside was the, in our opinion, unusable private pool room which was completely north facing and got zero sunlight until approx 5.30pm in the evening. Think we used the pool twice the whole time we were there. So if you are placed in a room on the same side as the creperie/bar and you like sun, really sorry! It’s also really dark in the room because of this reason. The room however was lovely inside, you can tell it’s been renovated recently. The housekeeping team were great and we were provided with a set of towels in the afternoon for showers and then another fresh set later in the evening for the mornings! One thing that did bother us, anyone and everyone can just walk into this hotel. In lots of occasions we came and left by the Deluxe entrance and it’s never manned. There is also a street side entrance that you can just waltz straight into the Deluxe main pool area and again at the front of the suites, you could just wander through. This is the first experience of this hotel set up and I didn’t feel comfortable with it. The food was pretty good in the Aqua Restaurant (buffet). I can’t fault the wide variety each day, some lovely meals were had. The desserts were great! The staff are super busy but getting a drink at breakfast was hard work. A few breakfasts went without the hot drinks arriving. The snack bar is a huge plus for this hotel, had some lovely food and drink from here- we definitely used it to its full potential each day! Waterpark was fab for the kids, lovely staff there too. So glad considering we had to spend so much time there due to the pool situation. Tried the Garden Restaurant (theme night buffet) for one meal- it was an absolute disaster. I’ve never seen so many wasps in one place, without sounding dramatic, it was so bad we couldn’t even get food as it was swarmed. Useful pointers- you’ll be dropped off and picked up from the waterpark entrance if using your tour operator coach transfer. We weren’t aware of this until we arrived but might be useful to someone. Download the app before you arrive- painful minutes after a long travel day were spent faffing with this in reception. You have to enter a lot of details after downloading just to fully check in and go to your room. Lots of pool floats etc left in the Deluxe pool each night so you probably could chance not bringing anything and grabbing one of those when you arrive. Appreciate this is quite a negative review but it’s an honest one.

What a wonderful holiday we had! The minute you walk onto the complex it's so clean and all the staff are very welcoming plus speak excellent English which helped check in run so smoothly. We waited 10 minutes for our room but we're given our all inclusive bands so could go and get a drink whilst we waited, drink selection and bar staff brilliant. Before our drinks were finished we were escorted to our room by a member of staff who helped with the suitcases plus talked us through the different areas as we were walking. Room was spotless (and I am very fussy) we had a pool room which was a big surprise for our children, they loved it. Welcome wine and chocolates on the side for us. Loved that the sinks were separate to the bathroom as you were able to get ready whilst everyone took turns for a shower in the evenings. Cleaner came every day, immaculate and always left plenty of clean towels, even some clean towels would arrive in the evening. Can change beach/pool towels every other day at reception. Pool was brilliant and the Crep bar was our favourite but also had choice of the snack bar, waterpark snack bar, ice cream chest plus the restaurant. Waterpark was a bonus (a little rough around the edges, could do with a lick of paint here and there but does the job and kids happy enough) Entertainment was mixed, themed style shows up at the waterpark every night (we found it a little like Haven in the evening there but kids enjoyed it) a singer/musician every night at the Crep Bar was our favourite, much more chilled, better drinks and we just took some cards/uno to play with the children. Waterpark exit onto the street is a little risky with the road so we only ventured out of the deluxe exit which is straight onto a small street but had plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. If you wanted the business of Tsilivi turn right up the street but we preferred turning left as it was much quieter and relaxed then headed down to the beach that way. Enjoyed drinks in the evening at Makai bar, which is stunning. We never ate out as the hotel accommodated all of our needs and it was delicious plus so much choice (my daughters very fussy but plenty of beige food available if needed) plus a kids section to choose from and ice cream counter with chocolate fountain was big hit. Very much a restaurant feel rather than a canteen as some ai hotels can feel. A wait at times for a table we never waited over 5 minutes and air con was brilliant in there. Air Con in room was also amazing. Staff are so happy, welcoming and all very well organised plus always happy to help. Would definitely come back here again.

We had an amazing time we were a family of 11. The hotel was very clean. Plenty of choice of food. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. We would like to thank Paulin for her services and also guest relation Hani for making our holiday memorable. The children loved the waterpark. After reading negative reviews we were sceptical about our stay. But we had a great time.

What can I say, I have no idea why this place has poor reviews as the week we spent here was nothing short of wonderful! We came with a large party (20 of us) and we all had a fantastic time. The staff cannot do enough for you, the buffet food and drinks were great and there was a wide selection of items to choose from. Two of us had a birthday whilst we were here at Aqua Deluxe and the staff brought us a cake and a bottle of fizz which was a lovely touch as was the rendition of ‘happy birthday’. The hotel is not too big that you would get lost but not so small that you feel like you’re on top of people all the time. We all loved the water park with the selection of slides, lazy river and the in pool activities. The snack bar and cocktail bar were easily accessible for the adults and children and the variety of hot and cold items was very good. The rooms were clean (the housekeeping staff did a great job each day the rooms were spotless) and for 3 of us it was big enough. If I had one complaint it would be that check in can take a while as there are only 2 desks so on days when there is a large arrival party it does take a little while but if you download the app before that can help speed things along. Overall we really enjoyed our 7 days here and would come back for sure!

I was a bit worried, reading the reviews on trip advisor, but I had no need to be. It's a lovely hotel, really nice staff, great facilities and amazing food - everything we wanted. Yes, the entertainment was a little bit loud, but our 3 year old went to sleep without any issues. I think probably the idea of there being music outside upsets or stresses the parents more than the children. There were a couple of rooms which maybe were more loud than others due to positioning - I'd just ask to move to a quieter room if that happens. The pools, the water park, the arcade area - all of it felt so safe and welcoming. The food was just amazing, we had safe options available like pizza and pasta, and then more adventurous options like octopus, seafood etc - it was a great experience for my son. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. I am sad to see some reviews say otherwise - I don't know what they could do better. They were Working in 38*c heat and still making delicious cocktails, crepes and even break dancing at the pool to entertain everyone! I'd recommend this hotel to friends and family for sure, thank you for a fantastic family experience
