We stayed at Atlantica Eleon Grand from 17th to 20th September 2026 and had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Check-in was smooth and the service immediately impressed us. My husband accidentally left his mobile phone in the taxi and the gentleman at reception kindly contacted the driver for us. Within an hour, the phone had been returned to the hotel, which we really appreciated. Our garden room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, with a lovely bottle of bubbly and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. The hotel has three different pools to choose from, as well as water slides, so there was plenty to enjoy throughout our stay. The beach was very relaxing with lots of sun loungers to choose from. The food was excellent, with a great variety of choices and the staff were always smiling, friendly and welcoming. My birthday was on the 18th, but we hadn’t mentioned this to the hotel, so it was such a lovely surprise to return to our room and find a bottle of bubbly, sweet treats and a Happy Birthday note waiting for me. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day even more special. A very special thank you to Kalliroy for helping to make our stay so memorable and one we will never forget. For us, this was a true 5-star experience. Thank you also for the lovely leaving gift it was the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic stay. We would happily return and would highly recommend Atlantica Eleon Grand.
This hotel is absolutely not a 5-star hotel. In my opinion, calling it 5 stars is misleading tourists. I would rate this as a 3-star hotel at best, and at this rate, I honestly wonder if this hotel will still be operating in a few years, because I cannot imagine many guests wanting to return. We had to change rooms on our very first day. The shower was completely blocked, causing the entire bathroom to flood with water. The room also smelled strongly of mould — so badly that our children wanted to go home. We complained to the hotel, but we were told they could not move us because they needed permission from the manager. I then contacted TUI, and suddenly we were allowed to change rooms after all. Unfortunately, the new room was not much better. There was no bed linen on the bed when we arrived, the room is poorly maintained, there are holes in the bed linen, and there is a strange smell coming from the walls. The room and the hotel in general feel so unwelcoming that I am honestly looking forward to going home. I have travelled to many places around the world, and this is one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The pool water is freezing cold, so our children don’t even want to swim. Our room is located next to a stage where loud music is played until 10:30 PM, yet this is where they place families with children. There is rubbish everywhere outside, and it is very clear that the hotel management does not seem to care about the condition of the property or the experience of their guests. My advice: don’t stay here. Find another hotel and save your money. This is nowhere near a 5-star hotel. The only positive thing I can say is that the food is good. I am honestly very happy that we will soon be leaving this place
Hei everyone.i want to say that it was all perfect from resepsjon the woman called Maria very kind or professional and all the staff excellent service.i recommend for everyone.
Stayed here 12-22may 2017. Upon arrival was very impressed with layout of hotel. Room was fabulous out of main building about 2 minute walk right next to entertainment 4 doors away from the bar. 😉 Food was great different theme each evening offering a welcome drink. Bonus that it was table service and we were shown to a table either inside or out ( your choice) always something to eat (and I'm a picky eater) staff around pool area for super friendly always making chat and drinks service was available. Don't be expecting a sun lounger unless your willing to wake up at 2am to reserve (although you can't) but by the beach was lovely and quiet. Pools were very cold (maybe we went to early) overall hotel was very clean staff are ever so friendly. The hotel is very secluded not much to do but if your looking for a quiet relaxing holiday it was fabulous. They do have a local bus stopping right from your hotel for €1.80. Would recommend going.
We had an enjoyable week away from normality, but unfortunately I don’t think Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort lives up to its 5-star rating. There were positives. The hotel and grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed the two à la carte restaurants. If you’re All Inclusive, you get one complimentary visit to each, although we only knew this because we had researched the hotel beforehand and no one actually told as about it. I’d definitely recommend booking them, and make sure you’re hungry because there is a lot of food! Breakfast was mixed. On our first morning, both the pancakes and waffles were cold despite being under the hot plate. The following day I asked for a freshly cooked pancake and that was much better, but at a 5-star hotel I wouldn’t expect to have to ask for food to be served hot. The outdoor pool areas themselves are lovely, although the water was extremely cold during our stay. I appreciate this may be common for outdoor pools at this time of year, but it did mean we didn’t use them as much as we would have liked. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the poolside loungers shown in the photos when booking. My partner is 6’7”, so the larger bed-style loungers particularly appealed to us and added to the luxury feel we were looking for. In reality, there were only a limited number of these, with most of the loungers being standard sunbeds. Some of the poolside furniture was also looking a little worse for wear, and we noticed mould/mildew on some of the loungers. This was another small detail that didn’t quite match the 5-star impression we’d got from the photos. The beach was probably one of our biggest disappointments. If having a lovely beach is important to you, I wouldn’t really describe this as a beach hotel. The hotel’s beachfront is quite small and rocky. We walked past the neighbouring hotel and the difference was noticeable – it had a lovely sandy beach with beautifully clear water and even a walkway into the sea. It really highlighted what was missing at ours. We did visit another beach during our holiday and the sea was amazing – beautifully clear and so warm it was like getting into a bath, actually much warmer than the hotel pools! So there are some gorgeous beaches and swimming spots to enjoy nearby, just not really at the hotel itself. On a cloudy day, we decided to try the indoor pool, expecting this to be a warmer alternative. EasyJet Holidays describes the hotel with: “Have a dip in the indoor swimming pool, making sure you put time aside to try out the Jacuzzi…” and also lists a hot tub amongst the facilities. We therefore assumed the Jacuzzi was one of the facilities available to guests, with treatments such as massages being chargeable. Once there, however, we found there was an additional charge to use the Jacuzzi, and the indoor pool wasn’t heated either. This meant there wasn’t really a warmer swimming option available, which was disappointing. There also wasn’t an easyJet rep available at the hotel that we could find, nor could we find anyone specifically to speak to about local boat trips and excursions. We ended up booking our turtle trip ourselves locally, which worked out well, but some information or assistance at the hotel would have been helpful. The All Inclusive drinks offering was also more limited than we expected from a 5-star resort. In the buffet restaurant, I asked for a rum and Coke but was told only beer and wine were available, and on another evening even pineapple juice wasn’t available. The à la carte restaurants also had restrictions on which drinks were included. There is a wider selection available at the hotel bars, although the standard All Inclusive offering isn’t what we’d consider particularly premium, with a number of cocktails and drinks carrying an additional charge. For a 5-star All Inclusive hotel, we expected more choice and consistency across the restaurants. Evening entertainment was another area that could be improved. One night there was a really good group of singers performing on the Olivia stage, but at the same time there was music around the reception/lobby area. As a result, the singers were performing to only a handful of families, which was a shame because they were very good. It would make much more sense to encourage guests towards the main entertainment rather than having different things competing with each other. Even small things could make activities such as karaoke more engaging, such as getting the audience involved in choosing a winner and offering a small prize. The room itself was spacious, but there were some maintenance issues that we wouldn’t expect from a 5-star hotel. There were noticeable discoloured patches showing through the wallpaper which made us wonder whether there may have been a damp issue, although we can’t say for certain what caused them. The bathroom also had mould/mildew in places and untidy/deteriorating grouting. The extractor fan in the shower didn’t appear to work either, meaning the bathroom regularly smelt damp. Overall, the room was a good size, but the condition and finishing didn’t feel 5-star. Overall, we did enjoy our holiday and there are genuinely good parts. However, it didn’t feel like a true 5-star experience to us. There were too many smaller details that didn’t match the standard we expected. Interestingly, this holiday also made us realise that for a destination like Zakynthos, we probably wouldn’t choose All Inclusive again. There are so many places to explore, beaches to visit and restaurants outside the hotel that we’d rather have the flexibility to experience more of the island next time.
