Avalon Palace Hotel by GHH

I'm very forgiving usually, but this hotel is a joke. Paid over $1000 euros for a week for a 'Deluxe Room'. Bed was rock hard with flimsy sheet and spartan duvet acting as a 'matress topper'. Subsequently did my back in as a result. A good bed and nights sleep is a basic necessity on holiday. When I ask for a refund, while barely being able to walk, was greeted by the most arrogant manager I met in my life. They could not care less. Customers treated like inconvenience. After enquiring about the Wellness and Spa facilities advertised on their on their website, to fix my back - was told I needed to go into Zante Town, find it myself, and get a cab there! SAVE YOUR MONEY ther are many more fabulous places to stay in Greece with the hospitality and customer service you would expect. This is not one of them.

Amazing view, professional staff, clean rooms and big variety at the buffet. We enjoyed staying in Bochali because of Avalon Palace Hotel. Zakynthos is amazing and we loved the pool.

Nice hotel. , a bit uphill but with excellent view. Very clean, with nice breakfast and good HB options. Very good value for money .

Wonderful views over the city of Zakynthos, nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast, walking distance from city centre. We had a very good time and we will definitely visit again.

Romantic hotel near the centre of Zakynthos (the return is uphill walk). You need a car to go to a good beach. Breakfast is very good, dinner buffet is also very good with many options. Room is average size, a bit dated but clean and comfortable.
