We had a wonderful welcome when we arrived. A welcome drink and a very relaxed and easy check-in. We were then taken straight up to our room, which had a beautiful view over the olive trees and the sea. We were shown how to turn on the AC which worked a treat and was very much needed! The room was a nice size with a very comfortable mattress. Slept really well all over our 5 nights. Entertainment by the pool didn’t disturb us or noise from the corridor. All inclusive and lots of choice of food and alcohol. The staff were all really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We did a few of Delfin’s morning and aqua classes, which were very good. We were lucky to be there for their 34th anniversary where there was a party for the family and the guests. The hotel is located 5 mins from the beach and 10mins from the nightlife. We had a really wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Castelli Hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Laganas and is a wonderful place to stay. The owner and staff are fantastic—nothing is ever too much trouble, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We stayed in a double room, which had everything we needed. It was spotless and cleaned daily. The bathroom was small but very clean. The shower could be a little temperamental, alternating between hot and cold, but it wasn’t a major issue for us. The food was plentiful, with a good variety, and always enjoyable. The pool area and gardens were beautifully maintained, creating a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The sunbeds were also incredibly comfortable. I rarely return to the same hotel or destination, but Castelli Hotel has changed my mind. Thanks to the exceptional staff and owner, I would happily stay here again. They are what truly make this hotel so special

Its not often that you read reviews and agree with everything that is said, but in this case I would. the hotel is located just outside the town and is conveniently situated for both the harbour and the main strip. Its quiet, but if you fancy a bit of nightlife its an easy walk. The hotel itself is small and I would question its status as a 4*. It has been given various awards but the last certificate shows a date of 2012. The rooms are quite basic and as mention by others, the bathrooms are very small and would be better described as a wet room as the shower is open. Yes our bathroom always had an unpleasant smell and was not nice. The TV is described as satellite but isn't, it comes through an Ariel and has only 4 stations, three of which are foreign. MTV is the only English speaking channel. Download a VPN to watch TV if you do so on your holiday. The Hotel is described as a green hotel. You are expected to refill your plastic water bottle from a dispenser, but whilst we were there for 11 nights the dispensers were out of order for most of the period. There are 2 coffee machines, one in the restaurant and one by the pool. Again the one by the pool spent most of the holiday out of use. i would expect faster action my the hotel to get these back in order. The food was good but no better than other Tui hotels we have stayed out. The female staff are very pleasant but the male staff could do with some training in customer service. Whilst not actually being rude they hardly ever smile or show pleasantries. The owner is always there to welcome you and wish you a good morning and chat. The pool area is great and the only time we didn't get a sunbed was when we went into town in the morning. The new buildings to the side of the hotel have put extra pressure on the space available and it is now at its limit. Entertainment was good, the Abba tribute act was special and apologies now to all who had to view my friend and mines attempt at being Benny and Bjorn. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. What made it special was the people we met whilst there. From soccer coaches, bar and restaurant owner and a Norweign chef who was changing to a train driver and their partners , they were all lovely people as were the ones that I have not mentioned. The friendly atmosphere is what sells this hotel. The age range here is mixed with a younger couples and older couples as well. If your a fussy person, then perhaps another hotel may be a better choice but if you can put up with some of the small negatives then I am sure you will have a great time. A word of warning when booking a hotel in Zante. We didn't realize how much of a party place it is. If you are an older person it pays to do a lot of research into where you are staying and the type of clientele the hotel attracts.

Pros: * Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception * Comfortable beds * Most of the food was tasty * Nice entertainment options, with live music every evening * The hotel has a very “boutique” and personable feel – you quickly get to know some of the staff and other guests, unlike in large hotels with hundreds of guests * Located on the outskirts of Laganas, away from the tourist crowds and noise, which suited us perfectly (although it may not suit those looking for the nightlife and party scene) * Rooms were cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily Cons: * Very small bathroom with an inadequate shower and no shower screen or curtain, resulting in half of the bathroom getting absolutely soaked after every shower * Noisy air-conditioning system – even when you switch off the air conditioning in your room, you can still hear the units from neighbouring rooms. This makes peaceful sleep difficult in what is otherwise a very quiet area. I had to use earplugs every night * When we arrived, the water in the swimming pool looked murky/cloudy. This only improved towards the end of our stay * Unlike most Mediterranean hotels I’ve stayed at, there was no made-to-order omelette station. When I asked for a freshly made omelette with tomatoes, cheese and ham, I was told to ask the lady preparing the standard egg-only omelettes for the buffet. When I asked her, however, she was visibly unhappy, shook her head and made me an egg-only omelette instead * Some staff seemed a little grumpy and tired * Very limited selection of cocktails included in the All Inclusive package * Paid cocktails were substandard and not worth the extra cost * Most of the desserts were not nice at all

Very nice and quite location in and olives trees garden; 250 mt from the beach and 400 from Laganas main street. Great frindliness athmosphere and top rate kindness from all the hotel personnel. Different type of rooms each with personal pool or a personal terrace. Confortable bed an air conditioning. Bathroom fine. Value added services that make feel the guest always at the center of their attention. Very clean in all its part. Food great with many different choices for breakfast and meals . All inclusive package was outstanding
