Cavo Suites

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our holiday in Zakynthos. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and looked after. The staff were genuinely some of the friendliest people we’ve met on holiday always smiling, so kind and happy to help with anything. It really felt like they cared about making sure their guests had the best possible stay. Our room was absolutely lovely and we were so impressed with how clean and well looked after everything was. They provided little shampoo/body wash, hand soaps and a little box which included nail file, cotton pad and cotton bud which was a really lovely touch. We also got a robe and a pair of slippers each, the room has a his and her sink and a hairdryer is provided. The housekeeping was amazing, our room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided every other day. You could really see the effort and care that went into keeping everything perfect. The pool was very nice and well maintained and there’s enough beds for everyone, not once did we struggle to find one for the both of us. It’s always the little things that make a holiday memorable, and the kindness of the staff, the beautiful room and just the overall stay really made it one we’ll remember. We were genuinely sad to leave and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you so much to everyone at Cavo Suites for making our holiday so special. Reception staff were excellent, especially the Archaeologist & the Actress lol. The hotel property itself is beautiful to look at, especially in the evening when the pool is lit up. Unfortunately, a section of the swim up pool is in the shade until 4pm. We were staying in that shaded section. The hotel room is spacious & clean, but not very user-friendly. The only mirror throughout the room was in the bathroom. Not easy to check yourself over, especially when the bathroom floor is soaking wet from the open shower that 2 people have used before getting ready. Breakfast was 730-10am. Not the best. The cooked parts of the daily breakfast was never replenished by anybody. So by 9am, there was only cereals & cakes left, with hot or cold drinks. Poor overall. We found it better going out for breakfast. I don’t think we would stay here again, unless we were guaranteed a sunny swim-up room, and the breakfast was removed from the price. So….lovely building, nice staff. Poor breakfast, Average room.

Lovely accommodation ! However reception staff were unhelpful and rude and extremely intimidating . Will not return .

We had a wonderful two week holiday in The Cavo Suites in Kalamaki. The duplex suite we stayed in had air conditioning downstairs and upstairs in the bedroom area, had a very comfortable bed and was kept very clean, with bed linen/towels changed regularly. A good location with several excellent tavernas within easy reach, and only a short walk to a lovely beach set in a beautifully scenic bay. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful, with a particular mention to Vasilis, who went out of his way to make conversation with guests and make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were superb, with lots of choice and variety every day, and again, the staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Lunches around the pool were also very good, freshly prepared and tasty. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just returned from these suites and besides the apartments being very good and breakfast fine I’m surprised by the previous comments about the front off house reception. Vilias (spelt the name wrong I think) was extremely helpful particularly when I messed the safe locking system up on arrival he fixed easily and was friendly in doing so. Also the two young ladies also worked at the reception desk were very helpful and friendly helping with anything we asked, bus timetables and other general information. All of the reception staff were always polite friendly and as I say helpful when asking for information
