Contessina Hotel

My girlfriend and I spent two weeks there and are absolutely thrilled. I’d especially like to highlight the friendliness of every single staff member. Above all our dear friend Anastasia, who took such good care of us every morning at breakfast and always made sure we started the day in a good mood. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend it. You absolutely have to try the cocktails; they were truly amazing. A huge compliment also goes to the staff for helping us rent a scooter. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Finally a huge thank you to the housekeeping staff, who went out of their way every day to make sure everything was clean and tidy. Thank you so much for everything!

It's an incredible paradise in the most beautiful location in Zakynthos island, just a few steps away from the sandy beach that has everything you can ask for! The hotel itself is actually a paradise! Effortless, tranquility, elegance,and luxury, everywhere around you! Gorgeous gardens, multiple pools, wonderful spa, restaurants,bars, relaxing areas, cinema,pilates classes and many more that leave you spoilt for choice! Attention to detail and exquisite craftmaship is all surrounding you everywhere! From the minute you arrive you are showered with love , attention, warmth, from all the wonderful people across all teams! Everything is spotless clean at all times! Gorgeous aesthetics, live music and an exceptional cocktail selection awaits at the bar! The restaurant offer the freshest produce and every meal is wonderful culinary journey! Breakfast offers everything you could wish for and the handmade pies are to die for! You will meet the warmest welcoming people ,always ready to help you with a great smile and love for everything they do! Beautiful people as Maria ,Koni, Ioanna,Elena ,Giota, Anastasia and many more ,made our stay truly unforgettable , so we can't wait to come back again! We could not praise enough this diamond of hospitality more, It's a lifetime experience that becomes addictive! Thank you all so very much!

Loved this Hotel. It was really wow. We had a swim up room which was fabulous. Loved the pool areas. The food was excellent - we had free half board but also ate out. Breakfast buffet lovely - staff are fantastic and nothing is a problem. The “à la carte” breakfast (hidden gem) was excellent- those croissants were sensational! Half board buffet was lovely too - no complaints about choice, freshness, quality at all. The day menu was also very good, order to your sunbeds or can relax in a few areas to eat/drink - use the hotel app. Used the spa at the Contessina Suites (few minutes walk) and it was gorgeous- the cave pool is well worth a half hour visit. Spa team come round the pool and offer a free minutes massage daily - the staff also come round with snacks like watermelon and shots! Cartons of water provided every day and evening, we also had a bottle of wine delivered to the room alongside sweets and nuts. Comfortable beds and a good shower. Loved the location - perfect for the beach visit, bars and restaurants nearby. Back door access with your key card which saves a few minutes extra walk, which was handy! Honestly loved our stay - all the staff were so nice and it’s a very chilled atmosphere. Anastasia and Monika, to name but a few! Can’t wait to return. *only niggles - some ladies at breakfast think it’s ok to wear their pjs (no from me!) and i think its a bit disrespectful all in all. WiFi dipped in and out at times. Some people DID reserve sunbeds before breakfast - absolutely no need, plenty to go round and I did see someone say to staff member to remove towels that were not in use, so that was good.

The hotel is conveniently located and, if you have a car, it has plenty of parking. The hotel lobby, pools, restaurant and rooms are all spotless. All of the landscaping and plants are beautiful, very chic and calming. Everyone, front desk, bellhop restaurant staff was friendly and professional, especially Anastasia! She greeted us every morning and evening with a smile. She was warm and friendly, so glad we met her.
