We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at this hotel and, overall, had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stylish and contemporary design throughout. The cool grey décor, ceramics and overall aesthetic create a calm, luxurious atmosphere. Our suite was spacious and well designed, with a separate living area, a separate bedroom and a large balcony, making it ideal for a family stay. The pool area and beach were absolutely perfect. The beach is sandy with shallow, calm waters, which were ideal for young children. Our children quickly made friends and had an amazing time playing together all week. The hotel is fairly quiet, with limited organised entertainment, but this suited us well as our children are still young and were perfectly happy with swimming, pool games and playing with their new friends. There was a singer on our final evening, which they absolutely loved. The one area that significantly let the hotel down for us was the evening dining experience. The food itself was generally of a high standard, with a five-course menu each evening. However, some dishes clearly appeared to have been sitting for some time rather than being freshly prepared. More concerning was the hotel’s handling of coeliac disease. My husband is a coeliac, and we informed the hotel on our arrival. Despite this, the waiting staff frequently did not know which dishes contained gluten and, on several occasions, dishes containing gluten were brought to him. The kitchen also seemed reluctant or unable to make what appeared to be relatively straightforward adaptations to dishes. We found ourselves having to repeat the same conversations and requests every day, only to be told that certain dishes simply could not be made gluten-free. The service during dinner was also chaotic. Courses arrived at different times for different members of our party, gluten-free and non-gluten-free versions of dishes were often forgotten, and meals arrived out of sequence. On more than one occasion, we had effectively finished a course before another family member’s equivalent dish had arrived. What should have been a relaxing evening meal became a source of frustration and stress. This is a hotel with so much to recommend it: beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, a fantastic beach and a lovely atmosphere for families. However, for a hotel operating at this standard, the management of dietary requirements and the organisation of the evening dining service need significant improvement.
Everything about the Hotel is perfect! Can strongly recommend the Spa treatments. I had a Cretan massage with hot oil by Alex and it exceeded my expectations. Pure relaxation in a welcoming environment and due to treatment by a competent, respectful and very friendly therapist. Thank you for this experience!

Very good location with comfortable private beach. Absolutly relaxing and calming atmosphere in whole hotel. The strong attitude is Aegen Spa, Alex was very professional i helpful in our physical problems. Rooms are small, but we spnent almost all time outside in the swimming pool, beach, garden.
