La Mirage

The air conditioning in our room wasn't working for three days, and the hotel manager couldn't care less. Taking a proper shower was a struggle—the rain shower head was broken, water pressure was extremely low, and to make matters worse, the water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and freezing cold. The housekeeping team didn't even bother to vacuum the floor or wipe down the cabinets. ​Only after TUI intervened were we moved to a smaller room, but at least the AC worked. Interestingly enough, the elevator was out of order, so we had to carry all our luggage down the stairs ourselves. ​After two nights, the hotel manager showed up expecting us to move back to our original room for the final two nights of our stay. He claimed that the room had been booked and that we had to leave. His tone was rude, arrogant, and entitled. I don't tolerate bad behavior, so after I firmly explained that this was completely out of the question and that I wasn't going to pack up and drag our bags down the stairs again, he made a call and announced that we "could" stay until the end of our trip. Absolutely ridiculous. ​During one breakfast, he was literally screaming at his staff because condensation hadn't been wiped under a drink dispenser. As you can see, a bit of condensation is a major issue to him, but guests stuck without AC for days couldn't matter less. ​A few facts about the food: don't expect anything genuinely Greek. The eggs are of the lowest quality, minced meat everywhere—everything is extremely cheap and poor quality. If you're lucky, you might find something edible that isn't swimming in grease or totally bland. As for the drinks, they are all made from cheap concentrate, except for the iced tea, which is poured straight out of a bottle and heavily watered down. I can't comment on the alcohol since I didn't drink any, but all the bottles were local brands. ​On a positive note, the dining room staff, the waiters, and their restaurant supervisor were wonderful. They really work hard, and they are friendly and helpful. They truly deserve recognition. ​Overall, however, we strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It's really hard to find any positives. ​P.S. The rain shower in the second room didn't work either. And keep in mind: if it hadn't been for TUI's intervention, we would have spent practically our entire trip trapped in a 28°C room.

Amazing service staff are great, rooms are modern and clean bathroom is lovely. We had the junior suite with a private pool attached so would recommend booking a room with a pool. George at reception was just brilliant very polite and we needed a later check out and he was able to sort for us. Variety of food options and just ticked all the boxes would deffo come back.
