Margarita

My husband and I have just returned from this hotel. Our stay was from 2nd October- 9th October and we had a lovely relaxing holiday. The hotel is not far from the airport which is a plus and situated in a quiet area of Laganas. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely reception staff, who advised us that lunch was about to end but we could leave our suitcases at the front and get something to eat, which was very thoughtful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was very clean and had an authentic Greek style which we loved. The food was fantastic. There was plenty salads and something for all. Fresh produce is grown on the grounds and also served. The hotel owner was very ' hands on'. At dinner times he was always behind the buffet greeting and also carving the meat. The meats and fish is also wonderfully seasoned and cooked. The lamb and beef was so tender and tasty. The staff and the owner are lovely. So welcoming and genuine. The hotel also has chickens so it felt like a small part of authentic Greece. There was no entertainment staff and entertainment in the evening was limited but the ambience was lovely. This hotel is very peaceful. We left on the day the hotel closed for end of season so it was naturally quiet but I believe that is also the nature of the hotel which would draw us to return along with the other fantastic positives that I have mentioned. My husband and I have returned home fully relaxed which to us is one of the main reasons we go on holiday and is a testament to this wonderful establishment. My partner and I stayed here in September for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed it. We had a superior room which was lovely, comfortable and we loved the decor. I found the bed super comfortable and slept so well. Our room was very clean and housekeeping do an amazing job. With the superior room you get 2 pools that you can use which are not open to all guests or children. The pools were always warm,clean and relaxing. You could always get a sunbed no matter what time. The gentleman working in the pool bar during the day was friendly and welcoming. We liked that the pool bar food was cooked on demand and not left out. We felt the reception area could be nicer when you compare it to the superior block. We wasn’t keen on the inside bar- it looks a little like a tall reception desk and often only had 1 person serving which caused delays. We wouldn’t have stayed to relax in the hotel on evening due to this. But there is plenty to do nearby so this wasn’t a problem. We both enjoyed the food and the fact that the fruit and veg is grown themselves was impressive and it always tasted good- proper home cooked food. We both ate well! We would return and plan on returning in 2028 but we would only stay in the superior rooms.

hotel Margarita on Zakynthos we have just had a holiday with you from 23/9-30/9-26, it was a lovely stay and we had a lovely room with our own pool. The hotel has the best staff, always smiling and helpful. The owners of the hotel make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the hotel until you have to leave home again, it is so wonderful. The food at the hotel is fantastic, both breakfast, lunch and dinner, well prepared and beautiful to look at, there are many different dishes and lots of delicious salads, you will eat too much😊 there is also good entertainment at the hotel, something for every taste. can highly recommend this place. we will be back. The rooms were cleaned every single day, and the entire hotel was spotless and very well maintained. The food was delicious, with plenty to enjoy, and the owner was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming. A very special mention goes to Hope – the BEST bartender ever! ❤️🍹 Always smiling, full of positive energy and making every drink with love and a very generous pour! She truly made our evenings even more enjoyable. Such a lovely person who puts her heart into everything she does! The whole atmosphere was warm, relaxing and welcoming. You could really feel that the staff cared about their guests and wanted everyone to have the best possible holiday. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Beautiful memories, fantastic hospitality and an amazing experience from beginning to end. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Margarita for making our 2026 holiday so special! The food is one of the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Hope among other staff are wonderful and are very helpful. Rooms are in great conditions and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. Cleanliness is not an issue at all and are cleaned every single day. I would say this is more of a quieter hotel as all entertainment stops at 11pm due to noise complaints. The hotel is a short 10 minute journey from the airport and is in a great location close to the beach and around a 20 minute drive to the capital Zakynthos. The owner of this hotel is also a chef and he’s always present at every dinner with a smile on his face greeting and speaking to the guests which shows he clearly cares. But I cannot put into words how great the staff were for our whole entire stay I have nothing bad to say about my whole stay it was one of my best holidays yet!
