Selyria Resort

The hotel has a good size, is not overcrowded, is comfortable, the rooms are clean and the food is perfect. The downsides are that the owner allegedly allows smoking in the bar area when closed during the evening and the showers suffer from leaking into the rooms. Also the beach bar is closed.

comfortable - very large and comfortable beds, clean, rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. Resort with very good food, fresh and varied, lots of Greek dishes such as moussaka and baklava, something new every day. Drinks served in disposable plastic, which is a big plus for me, because in my opinion washed plastic dishes are disgusting. Resort located in a quiet part of Tsilivi, 300m away from the sandy clean part of the beach, with resort sunbeds very stable and very comfortable. Beach bar open only until the end of September. Water in the pools clean, on one day more warm, on another cold. Resort with very quiet music, no animation, etc. for me ideal - pure relaxation. Minuses - poorly designed floor in the rooms - covered with pallets instead of tiles, hence soaked from the shower in some places, dangerous. A lot of flies, especially when it rains, which is normal, but I think it's also because in general, in my opinion, Zakhyntos is not the cleanest place - I mean garbage in ditches, etc. sidewalks, streets are clean. Generally we recommend if someone need a silence .Hotel overcrowded with Dutch people.

At Selyria Resort we had the most fantastic season! Nice and kind staff, cooperative people, delicious food, unsurpassed in taste sweets, but the most important was the Dutch Amazing Guests! Thank you Selyria for hosting! Will be back soon...

Hotel is in a good location, it's quiet and close to the sea. The best things about the resort were definitely personel and the food. There was enough space by the pool, reception worked all night. Room was clean and comfy. The only minor flaw was shower cabinet, which could be cleaned better. We had a very good time and went back with batteries charged up :)

The hotel was reasonable, but it should not be called a "resort" nor have five stars. You can't call it a resort if it lacks the facilities that a resort provides. There were two mattresses on the floor in the family bedroom?? We couldn't sleep well since they were so uncomfortable. There was mould in the room, the wifi didn't function, there were two sinks but only one worked, the pool looked dirty, and the food had no seasoning at all. The hotel is practically quit at night. The individuals who work at the hotel are wonderful! We had a great time in Zakynthos and spent much of our time outside. So the hotel is acceptable if you are planning to mostly go out during the whole day.
