We visited aqua bay between 16-23/9 2026. The whole family including grandpa and son (4 years) was very happy with the hotel and waterpark. Summary All inclusive food and restaurants: very good and they changed the menus every day. Elia restaurant: you can book this one night - don't miss it, really nice tree course meny. Waterpark: all you need for the whole family (watertemp in the pools and the park was good during our stay). Drinks: overall good but not top of the line if you are a cocktail person. Rooms: verny nice and good cleaning every day. Service and staff: overall very nice and helpful staff. Beach: there are beach 500 m from the hotell but most areas are "private" and the areas thats is not are not so good closest to the hotell. To find a proper beach to hang out on you need to walk couple of kilometers from the hotell.

Photos look great but not as good when you get there. The hotel is close to the main road so at night it’s very noisy - if you’re lucky enough to be given a room that end or reception side. Pools look decent but they are small and only 1.35mtrs deep with murky water. If you have teenagers they won’t be able to bomb and dive etc. Pools were not maintained - on our last day after 2 weeks the maintenance guys were scrubbing them. Ear infections for the kids too who never suffer from them so questionable pool cleanliness. Sun-beds were few and not enough for the amount of people, must have had a lot of Germans there as there were the usual towels out and no one on them till lunch! Rooms were ok with clunky partitions and curtains that didn’t cover the patio doors so the sun would beam in each morning. Beds for kids are shorter than standard size so again teenagers will have their legs hanging over the end! Key entry system had multiple issues and had to get many cards changed/ updated and a handy man over to take a look and reset the door system. Food was ok but nothing to shout home about. Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day. The à la carte restaurant was not an à la carte at all - you'll have a better meal in a beefeater. No front of house, served by silent waitresses. Very unhappy staff and weren’t engaging at all apart from a select few across the hotel. Drinks were watered down and not that great either. Coffee was horrendous, instant sachets were nicer but still poor. Water park was ok with 5-6 rides for bigger kids but it’s dated. Hotel itself is plain, no character, not much about it. No signs, no clock, no maps or anything at reception. No welcome when we arrived - very frosty & quiet. Hotel better suited for younger children if you do book, nearby beaches aren’t that special and a trek away by foot. A very disappointing experience for a group of 15 in the height of summer. It’s certainly not 5*, at best I’d say this is a 3* hotel with work to do!

The hotel room suggested the designer has never used a hotel room. Plug sockets too few and in the wrong place. Drawer space inadequate. 3 TV channels, none British. Food average - very repetitive. Bar staff were very helpful and friendly. All inclusive was far from that - basic Greek beers not even included. Water park facilities good. Table tennis table in ridiculous location amongst the gaming machines. Several lost balls under those machines. Main issue was the state of all the pools. Absolutely filthy. We only saw cleaning happening towards the end of our holiday after we complained. Two of our party developed ear infections. Child needed a doctor to visit twice at cost of €360. Also had to stay out of the pool for the rest of our stay. Hotel manager took the company line and denied any problem. The smallest pool created a foam after any splashing or jumping in. Took several minutes for bubbles to disperse. It may be that chemicals are used to meet safety standards but the pools are cloudy. Appears that no water filtering happens. The attitude of the manager was totally unsympathetic. Ear infections can happen for any reason he said. Two of us? However despite the manager completely denying any issue we, on our last day, were given a bottle of Prosecco in each room and a large plate of fruit which was far from an acceptable compensation for the distress and expense we had to incur. Why such a gesture unless there was a problem - we had access to those items anyway with all inclusive? The water park is perfect for kids but we would never return.

I'm not one to normally come online and complain or leave bad reviews but this place was terrible from start to finish. The trouble started when we arrived at the hotel at around 4am after travelling through the night with my young children, us and another family arrived at the hotel at the same time they checked in 1st to find there was another family fast asleep in there room! After the reception staff was made aware of that he went to check in there was anyone in our room before checking us in and guess what there was! So then we was told by reception the room isn't ready and it would be ready by 3pm that's 11 hours after arriving from a night flight. At around 9am the hotels customer service manager came to us where we was all sat in reception still waiting for our room. I explained that this wasn't good enough we have a 3 month old baby and we need the room ASAP for feeding ect and her attitude was horrible. Her words was " what do you expect me to do, it's your fault for arriving so early have you never stayed in a hotel before" We've stayed in many hotels around the world and never experienced this especially when booking a package holiday with TUI. The food The food isn't too bad as long as you don't mind eating the same meals everyday for your entire stay there is very little veriaty and it's the same thing day in day out. My other kids really struggled as their kids section is terrible with only 3 items and to be honest I wouldn't feed it my day. The rooms We booked a swim up deluxe suit what was nice but rather small nowhere for suitcase ect and 2 small wardrobes for us all to share so was very cluttered especially with a cott in there for the baby. The only issue we had with our room was one of our clean towels left by the cleaner was absolutely smothered in human poo what's absolutely disgusting so we refused to use the hotels towels again as they clearly are not washed properly. I know it's advertised as a 5 star hotel but in other country's it would be lucky to get 3 star. Glad to be home and wouldn't recommend or stay again.

Food is repetitive,not the best food,pools and rooms are dirty,however,the servers,barmen,and front desk are the most amazing people
