TUI BLUE Zante Maris

We have just come back from Zante Maris after taking our honeymoon here. We had the most amazing 10 days. The staff are all incredible, so kind and welcoming, they work so hard, we hardly ever had to order drinks as Alix learnt our orders and would just bring them to us and others would come over to beds to get your orders for you. The food was the best all inclusive food we have ever had. So much variety and nothing was ever cold. We went end of season but there was still entertainment throughout the day and evenings which were all great. We had a couples massage at the spa which was incredible. The pool is very cold but as you’re on the beach it was fine to go in there instead as it was warmer. We did still use the pool on the warmer days. We were so sad to leave but will definitely be returning in the future. The staff honestly make this hotel, every single member was so kind and helpful.

Firstly the one good thing was the staff - helpfull, friendly and they really try to provide good service. Unfortunately that does not compensate for the numerous issues with the hotel. There is no way this is a 5* hotel - I don’t think it would rate a 3* . It is very tired and tatty. It needs a lot of money spending on it to put it right.The food was mostly lukewarm or cold- cooked in large batches early in service and left to sit Based on my experience this will be the first and the last trip taken with Tui.

As I am pregnant I wasn’t sure what treatments were suitable for me but the team took me through the options and the adaptations they could do to ensure my comfort. I had the most incredible ice facial with the lovely Matina! Very professional and she created the most relaxing environment. She ensured I was comfortable and warm at all times and I would highly recommend. Such good value for money and you get to use the heated pool and sauna before and after your treatment. The whole area was very clean and peaceful and easy to locate next to the main pool area and gym.

We are a well travelled couple. The Tui blue zante maris is definitely a 4* hotel. It doesn't quite make the advertised 5*. Reception lobby is underwhelming but staff are professional and welcoming. There's a big difference in room types. Positives: * great staff. Always helpful. * cleanliness. Room and hotel * location. Right on the beach and close to village shops * sunbeds. Lots available * food. Great choices * drinks. Good quality and choice * relaxed. Adults only. *good room with safe and fridge TV free wifi and kettle and bottle of wine on arrival * air con works well. Not so good.. * entertainment. Varied quality and often too loud *loud thumping music until 11pm * freezing cold pools painted a dark unwelcome colour * not best value for money at the price Tui charges Potential improvements (in our opinion) would be to create a relaxed piano/jazz bar (maybe in reception). To install heating in the swimming pools.

Excellent hotel, our 2nd visit this year. The hotel is in a fantastic location, on the beach and a short walk to the village. In our opinion what makes this hotel special is the staff all of them, they are a credit to the hotel. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with a kettle for your morning cuppa. The facilities are second to non, with some of the best entertainment we have ever seen. The food is well cooked with plenty of choice and I'm a self confessed picky eater. Will we be back again, definitely. Our new home from home. Thank you.
