TUI BLUE Zante Maris

Leaving tomorrow after 10 nights here, the pros outweigh the cons. Fantastic location, beautiful hotel very aesthetically pleasing. Rooms a good size plenty storage with comfy beds and pillows. Bathroom with double sinks and a great shower. All kept spotless by one of the lovely lady housekeepers. The food is plentiful and a great selection, could be hotter though, and area can become cramped at busy times. Entertainment was good, plenty to do during the day if you are into all that. Evening entertainment was hit or miss ranging from the odd good band to dire karaoke 🙉 All staff are friendly, attentive and professional and can't do enough for you. The a la carte restaurant is a must and food was excellent. Had a fabulous foot and leg massage at the spa by Jeanie which was very relaxing and just what I needed after the flight puffed up my ankles. The cons are the sunbed situation, no brollies or shade at all round the pools, in this day and age skin cancer is rife so I don't understand why they chose to do this, probably it spoils the overall look of the place. At the beach there are brollies but quite a few were broken and even though you were struggling to get a bed there were a load of frames without mattresses which could have been in use. You need to be up early to get a bed and unfortunately I had to spend three days in the room on the balcony because I couldn't get a sunbed with shade which is sadly the main reason I would not return 😞

A trip to the spa is a MUST-DO! I enjoyed a fabulous relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage from Matina. Such a calming space and the staff are all so lovely. I would have booked another treatment if I were here for longer! Five stars 🌟

This was our second visit to the Zante Maris and we would happily return again! We first stayed in May 2024 and had a wonderful time which lead us to return two years later. The hotel is still absolutely fantastic. The rooms are a decent size, the beds are incredibly comfortable (mattresses are on the firmer side which is perfect for us) and are a super king size. The bathroom was well maintained and modern, again, can’t fault it. The air conditioning works well and keeps the room at a nice cool temperature. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they genuinely can’t do enough for you. Lina, one of the waitresses recognised and remembered us from our previous stay two years ago, even remembering the guests we went with last time and even outfits we wore, it was really quite incredible to remember to that level of detail. It was lovely to see her again and it was lovely to see her every morning. She is fantastic at her job. Maristefi, the guest relations manager was wonderful to deal with and is a real credit and asset to the hotel. She was so friendly and happy to help with anything, big or small. When we stayed previously they had a Greek orange cake for dessert which was my favourite thing to have, but it hadn’t been on the menu for the first 4 nights. I asked her if it would be on the menu at all and it wasn’t due to be on there. However, she went and spoke with the catering team and that night, what was on the menu? Greek orange cake! The chef even made a point when I was getting dinner to make sure I knew they had made it so I didn’t miss out. The entire team honestly elevated the definition of hospitality to a different level. They really are all fantastic! The food at the hotel is perfect. There is so much variety and the quality and taste is perfect. If you have any concerns with a hotel for food, you wont be disappointed. The staff are all so friendly and polite and happy to help in the restaurant, welcoming you when you see them. There is a huge variety of drinks and cocktails, you won’t struggle to find something to drink. The pool isn’t a big pool, but at the end of the hotel you have the sea if you really want to go for a longer swim. It’s more of a relaxed vibe to the hotel as you would expect from a Tui Blue. We didn’t have a sun loungers battle like you do have at hotels, but we are up early anyway so reserved them with ease. The hotel is clean and modern, the rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. The entertainment is more relaxed of an evening but there is variety every night and it is enjoyable. You are a very short walk into the town with shops, restaurants and bars readily available, a miniature/crazy golf course is only a 5 minute walk away which is fun for an activity for a few hours. The only minor criticism for the hotel is they really do need to invest some money in the gym. I like to go running on holiday but unfortunately the treadmills weren’t really usable. One was stuck on incline and the screen wasn’t particularly responsive for controls. The other treadmill needed a proper service as the belt would stick if you wanted to run, rendering it useless unless you wanted to go for a walk. On the previous visit the treadmills weren’t actually functioning at all. I would suggest to the higher management just to invest in two new treadmills, and a new elliptical machine as only one of them worked aswell. A small investment in the gym equipment is the only thing the hotel would need to improve on. If you are considering this hotel for a booking, just book it. It’s honestly fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. If I could rate it more than 5* I would.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our third visit to TUI BLUE Zante Maris, and once again it has been absolutely fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, the food is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and the whole atmosphere is so relaxing. A special mention has to go to Bianca, who looks after guests around the pool. She is absolutely amazing at her job and is always friendly, professional, and smiling. What impresses us most is how she manages to remember everyone’s drinks orders, even when she’s incredibly busy. Her service is exceptional and she really helps make the holiday experience special. The staff throughout the hotel are wonderful and work so hard to ensure guests have a great stay. It’s easy to see why we keep coming back. We have loved every visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Zante Maris to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday. We can’t wait to return again!
