TUI SUNEO Tsilivi Admiral

Booked this hotel having stayed here 8 years ago. Had been advised the hotel had been refurbished. Arrived to friendly reception staff and was taken to our room in A block, room 309. Lovely large room with sliding doors to two separate single beds and the balcony. Room was always kept clean and got clean towels most days. Unsure how often bed was changed. Only downside was in the bathroom we had a bath so having to climb in and out of that to have a shower was sometimes a hinderance. The restaurant is probably one of the nicest all inclusive restaurants I have ever visited, so much choice. There was so many options I am sure even the most pickiest eater could find something to eat. The hotel was rather busy when we stayed so if you were looking for a quiet relaxing meal, this was hard to find. We often tried to find a table away from the serving area away from the hustle and bustle. The pool area always seemed clean and there were always sunbeds available. Pleased we didn't have the daft o'clock scramble for beds however there were those that were up sharp to secure their position! The entertainment team were good with their daily activities however I do think they could have had a bit more interaction with the guests and walked around the pool areas asking if they wanted to join activities and have a bit banter with guests. Rather they would just announce what was happening and if you wanted to join you had to go the designated area. Sometimes the pool area was very noisy and busy so again, if you wanted a chill out around the pool, the main one isn't the place. Not sure how much quieter the other pool was as we never lay around that pool. We never spent any evenings in the hotel so cannot comment about the evening entertainment. Drinks and snacks were good around the pool. Only tried a couple of cocktails but the beer was ok and the rose wine was pretty good. My partner enjoyed the snacks from time to time. The location is in a good spot. Close enough to the beach and just a short walk up to the main road and to other restaurants and bars. Most of the staff were very friendly and entertained me when I attempted my generic Greek phrases with them! Would we stay here again? Probably not. No fault to the hotel or amenities but just a bit too boisterous, loud and busy for us.

We’ve just got home after a lovely week at the Admiral! We booked it last minute week before we flew out and never been to Zante before! The hotel is spotless the reception staff were so friendly and helpful and carried our bags to our room! The room was lovely 2nd floor over looking the 2nd pool quieter than the main pool so we were glad of the position! It was cleaned and made up everyday the maid was lovely and left fresh towels and a large bottle of water everyday! There wasn’t much storage room but for 2 of us it was ok! The food was one of the best all inclusive we have had lots of variety and very tasty! The hotel is near to the beach and the many shops and restaurants! We hired a car for 3 days great price from a car hire in the centre they were really helpful dropped the car at the hotel reception for us at 9am! Would definitely go back to this hotel thank you for a lovely stay

I cannot fault our stay at the Admiral in anyway. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful but most of all just lovely people. The food was so fresh,packed with flavour with so much choice. We particularly liked the local dishes. The hotel was kept so clean. The location is perfect to access the beaches,shops,cafes & restaurants. The hotel has 2 pools which meant plenty of space for everyone including couples & families. The entertainment team were again friendly,polite and helpful at all times and had some great entertainment nights along with the usual bingo ect. The island its self is beautiful, so many different types of boat trips,dont miss out on a Turtle tour and a snorkle in the Blue caves. Plus a drive through the mountains,stopping in local shops for homemade goodies. We will not forgetthis holiday in a hurry. Thank you Admiral Eilidh & Family

We booked this hotel as a last minute all inclusive deal with Tui. Reading the reviews leading up to our holiday we had high hopes. Upon arrival at reception two members of staff were sat chatting and did not acknowledge us until we asked to check in. Greeting was a little frosty and was made to feel not welcome. Female member of staff checked us in and simply gave us our key card which was in a tatty used paper key holder along with a print out of information about the hotel. Nothing was explained to us at check in regarding dining times, pool towels etc. The same female member of staff walked us to our room, walking through the hotel at around 10:30pm and the evening entertainment was on. We were guided down some steps and along what I can only describe as a dirty alley way with dirty water puddles and what felt like staff quarters. I instantly was not happy, opening the door to the room it was dark, dated and dirty and also a family room which I had not booked. The noise from the evening entertainment was very loud as stage was right outside the room. I requested a room change there and then to be told they had no other rooms until tomorrow morning. Having read a few other reviews this seems to be a regular thing the hotel does to guests, placing them in the basement for the first night. We returned to reception to complain and was told the hotel is full tonight so return in the morning after 10am for a new room. We were told if we had arrived earlier in the day we could have had an updated room, I was unsure why a later flight time should affect the type of room you are given. We accepted there was nothing more we could do and went to bed. To also note the patio door did not lock on this room so felt a little unsafe sleeping and leaving the room unattended. Next morning we went to reception after 10am and was told our new room was ready. A lovely female member of staff who may have been the manager walked us to our room, chatting and telling us all about the hotel and area. Our new room was on the second floor in block D, updated, cleaner and had a pool view. We were just glad to get out of what could only be described as a dingy basement. Our new room was still not perfect and had a strange smell of vinegar and drains in the bathroom for the whole week however we were happier. Onto the pool area, they were both kept clean, organised and new sun loungers and umbrellas were lovely. The only gripe we had was the pools were both concrete and were rather rough on your feet. There is also a problem with wasps throughout the day, resulting in having to cover your drinks or they would surround you, this I know cannot be controlled by the hotel but useful to note. They also have two different types of music playing all at once round the pools which we found slightly irritating. The restaurant was clean and tidy with attentive staff clearing tables quickly. It however had more of a feel of an in and out style canteen than somewhere you could sit relax and enjoy a meal. Breakfast and lunch were the better of the three meals and found the food to be a little repetitive and not often hot unfortunately. We ate out two nights just to eat something different. Soft drinks were self serve both in the restaurant and around the pool. Tasted of cheap quality and watered down. Alcohol options were also a little limited on the all inclusive side. Area/resort around the hotel is pleasant and a short walk into the main part of Tsilivi which is lined with bars, restaurants and a great mini golf course. We overall had an alright stay at this hotel however don’t think we would return due to the initial poor impression given and would definitely give it a 3 star rating rather than a 4 as advertised.

Had an amazing holiday here. I travelled with my partner, 11 year old and 1 year old daughters. My 1 yr old is hard work so we were unable to eat out in the evenings which was fine because the food in the hotel was great so I didn’t feel like I missed out. The rooms are nice, beds are comfy. TVs you can cast to your tablet which means you can watch what you want (Toy Story for my 1yr old). This was a life saver! And the wifi is good so you can stream with no issues. I requested a ground floor where it was quiet. They gave me a ground floor in block C and it was perfect. You can still hear music from the nearby pub but it didn’t cause us any problems. Overall a great holiday. Would love to return
