Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort

Stayed here for five nights out of the 15 nights in bali. Checkin didnt go smoothly, the front staff are not as friendliest as other resorts. When we finally checked we saw a welcome gift, not that i eat it anyways, it was the saddest looking welcome gift. I thought someone just left it behind. Maybe, since we found some food that was left behind in the fridge. Breakfast was decent but the coffee bar was full of flies, and particularly here the staff didn't understand very basic english. Just simple requests i had trouble asking. We ate all of the meals at the resort, they constantly ran out of supplies... the private beach, not really private. There were vendors asking for massage every dive minutes. Try to catch a nap but they literally woke me up to ask for massage. To the bitter end, they scheduled a cab for me, didn't arrive for twenty minutes. It is not the hotel taxi but found out the operator gave incorrect address. The housekeeping staff was super friendly even though we never cleaned our room, they were very pleasant. Very average, so many improvements needed.

This is a lovely hotel at a reasonable price for Nusa Dua - which can be expensive in school holiday periods. I had a garden view room on the ground floor. This came with a small patio area outside which was pleasant in the evening when it had cooled down a bit. The room was pleasant, if a little functional in appearance, and the bed very comfortable. The lighting, particularly in the bathroom was not very bright, which is rather typical of hotels unfortunately. An excellent shower, nice seating area within the room and great air-conditioning made my room a little haven. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, and has a simply gorgeous set of pools, overlooked by a very good restaurant where breakfast was also served. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good. I also ate lunch there on one day and that was very good too, although the server did not tell one of my dining companions about the steak special when he ordered a steak off the a la carte menu, meaning they charged him more than the special would have been. We raised this with management who was very apologetic and altered the price accordingly, but this experience was disappointing and indicative of not very good training for the wait-staff in the restaurant. The room service meal I ordered one night was very poor and I had to send it back. The replacement was not much better. Again, however, management was very apologetic and did not charge me for my meal. I was also disappointed that, unlike two couples I knew staying at the resort, one of whom I checked in at the same time with, I was not offered a room upgrade, while they were. This seems unfair. Overall however I would recommend this hotel.

Best services at all levels for our eleven nights stay. The hotel staff & local people here are so beautiful & helpful. Now we know why millions of Australian come for holiday here each year for good reasons because of the local people, the cultures, food & natural beauty not for the few bad publicity we saw on tvs. Thank you for making us feel welcome & for looking after us. We have enjoyed a lovely stay at this resort. Our room was a spacious king opening onto a terrace only steps from the large pool. The breakfast was excellent with every choice you would want. There are a couple of dining options for lunch and dinner on site too. The staff are all simply amazing and willing to help with any request and are definitely my favourite thing about our stay. Loved them all. Our housekeeper Yoga was a lovely young man and did a great job of servicing our room. Great facilities and everything a family or couple would need. My only suggestion would be that a small convenience shop onsite for essential items would be beneficial .

An absolutely wonderful hotel! I travelled here with my daughter, just the two of us, and we loved everything about our stay. The spa was amazing, the swimming pools were beautiful, but the best part of all was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. We felt so welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. Everything was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely love to come back!
