Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

Maya Ubud resort is exceptional. It's breathtakingly beautiful, pristine Gardens,surround by the forest and it's so very tranquil. We stayed in a heavenly jacuzzi villa and it was heavenly! Very, very clean and well presented in a true Balinese style. Mini bar was well stocked, a lovely, comfy large bed, nice and spacious villa. I loved the outside jacuzzi and we used it a lot. We could not fault it. Perfection!! The staff go above and beyond to give you the most amazing stay, extremely friendly and accommodating. They work very hard. There is nothing they won't do for you. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want to eat. We ate off the alacarte menu every night, the food was delicious. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment. It was fantastic. We also booked the Teriyaki which was so much fun too. The tree top bar has a lovely selection of cocktails and also had a happy hour every night. Sitting high above the canopy of the forest, lit by lanterns and listening to a band play just magical and very romantic. The resort location was central to ubud and had a shuttle bus to the village. We used the adult pool. Absolutely beautiful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. So peaceful and serene. We also used the gym, small but well equip! We were honestly blow away by this beautiful resort. There is nothing negative I can say. We did not want to leave. We shall treasure the memories of our time at Maya Ubud and one day we'd love to return. We highly recommend a stay at Maya Ubud. You'll have the most magical stay. It really is exceptional. We had an incredible stay at Maya Ubud, but what made it truly unforgettable was the outstanding service from Dewi at Mayasari restaurant. One morning, I casually mentioned that something felt a bit lacking. From that exact moment on, Dewi personally made sure we had everything exactly as we wanted it. She went above and beyond by paying attention to our every desire. My husband has specific dietary needs, and Dewi took complete care of him, ensuring all of his meals were custom made-to-order. Her warmth, attentiveness, and true Balinese hospitality made us feel so cared for. Thank you, Dewi, for making our mornings so special and never making us feel like we were asking too much! Also, everything we ate at lunch and dinner was absolutely delicious. So much so that we only went out twice—once to the Viceroy and another time to the Four Seasons Ubud—and we preferred Maya hands down. In addition, I want to commend the front desk staff for remedying a problem with our room the first night. The very next morning, the staff resolved the issue completely by switching our room!

Beautiful resort , the service was great. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The butler service very quick and efficient especially Ayra, Darnen and Ari. The complimentary yoga and walks were excellent too

We were extremely happy with our stay at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa! We stayed in two Pool Villas with butler service, and the entire experience was exceptional. Every restaurant had a wonderful menu, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. I had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Chef during breakfast, and he offered to prepare an Indian dish especially for me. He personally cooked it and brought it to our table – such a thoughtful and memorable gesture! The entire staff was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. We booked the “Eat Pray Love” package at the spa, and it was honestly one of the best massages I have ever had. A very special thank you goes to Rani, Aris, Mei, Trisna, Gangga, Darmen, Sukma & Yoga – the wonderful Butler Service team. Whatever we needed, they were always there for us and were incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and convenient, and they always responded promptly. We have some excellent luxury hotels in Switzerland, but Maya Ubud Resort & Spa truly exceeded everything I have experienced so far – both during my travels and here in Switzerland. The level of service, hospitality, and attention to detail was simply outstanding. Bravo to the entire team – please keep doing exactly what you are doing! I will definitely return, and next time I will stay longer so I can enjoy Maya Ubud Resort & Spa even more. Thank you for making our stay so special and unforgettable!

Had the roasted chicken and steamed chicken on separate visits before finally getting the mixed combo. The combo is the right call. Both on the same plate over ginger rice gives you context for how different the two preparations are and lets you decide which one becomes your regular order.
