Sol by Melia Benoa Bali - All Inclusive

Just returned home from a 10 night stay, our fourth time here. The hotel Is lovely, rooms are exceptionally clean, food is plentiful. The staff truly make this place, Mendrin, Bayou, Natalia, Annie and Bella and Arayani, Jendra, Dec and BomBom and last but by no means least Agostina in the Armata restaurant (love her to bits). They are the names I can remember but they are all amazing. Had my birthday whilst there and they did not disappoint. See you in April

Good location fairly close to the airport. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere. My room was very nice. As I booked an all inclusive holiday I found it to be of excellent value. The general areas of the hotel were very clean and comfortable. The ambience was lovely with most noise kept to a minimum. The service was impeccable with the staff going above and beyond to cater for all needs. The pool area was excellent along with the beach. Everything was good.

Me and my partner came to this hotel as a personal celebration for us both. It was an important holiday for us both so we decided to upgrade to the platinum all inclusive package immediately, we had a nice time but unfortunately wouldn't go back. The hotel it's gorgeous and so well maintained. The staff are constantly tending to the plants and the scenery all throughout the hotel. The staff are also absolutely lovely and always so friendly, the spa too was incredible (we went 4 times during our holiday). Food was pretty good, we got quite bored of the buffets however the selection on the menus within the other two restaurants helped to combat this. The only reason why I say I wouldn't go back again is because firstly we found problems with the cleanliness. The bedding and towels frequently had stains on, and the main problem was from the glasses. We sent back drinks constantly due to bits floating in our drinks, on the worst case we saw mold all in the cracks of the glass. This made us to paranoid with all of our drinks. The other thing we were super disappointed about was the premium upgrade, this doesn't include a room (we did ask and were willing to pay more but we weren't given any option for this on check in). The package advertised benefits on check-in like a flower garland, flower arrangement in the room, cookies and wine on check-in etc and we had none of these. They also advertise additional options for food and drink, there's barely any difference though compared to the standard all inclusive package so this was a huge waste. One of the main reasons we wanted to upgrade was for the opportunity of a late checkout (our flight wasn't until midnight) but when we asked we were told no and that our bands will be cut off at 3 so this didn't leave us feeling very welcome as we were leaving. Literally the only benefits were the free massage (yet they're cheap anyway and you get 50% off on the normal package), reserved sun beds and laundry. We did have a free romantic meal on the beach too which was nice, but definitely not worth how expensive the upgrade was. To be honest we could have paid for it all separately and it be cheaper than the upgrade as there were no other benefits to that so avoid upgrading, we were very disappointed to have wasted the money Came away enjoying the holiday, but I would choose a different hotel in future. I think if we hadn't upgraded we would have come away feeling a bit better as I feel like we've been cheated out of a lot of money for no benefit

Our stay at SOL by Meliá Benoa Bali was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful facilities and fantastic food to the incredible service and genuinely warm hospitality, this resort gave us exactly the relaxing, luxurious holiday we were hoping for — and so much more. The resort itself is beautiful, with a fantastic location and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. There is plenty to enjoy without the resort ever feeling overwhelming. The All Inclusive option was absolutely the way to go for us. Having everything taken care of meant we could completely switch off, enjoy the pools, beautiful surroundings, fantastic food and, of course, plenty of cocktails! 🍹🌴 One person who deserves a very special mention is Vina, the Customer Experience Manager. From the beginning of our stay, Vina was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for us and made so many things possible that helped make our anniversary holiday truly special. Her attention to detail, genuine warmth and willingness to help made us feel incredibly well looked after. Vina is a wonderful ambassador for SOL by Meliá, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. Our anniversary room decoration was absolutely gorgeous and such a thoughtful touch. Walking into the room and seeing the effort that had gone into making it special was a beautiful surprise and something we will remember for a long time. ❤️ A huge thank you also goes to all of the kitchen and cleaning staff. So much of what makes a resort feel luxurious happens behind the scenes, and these teams work incredibly hard to make it happen. Our room was always beautifully maintained, the resort was kept immaculate, and the food was consistently delicious. Their hard work, often without receiving the recognition they deserve, really helped make our holiday feel effortless and relaxing. And we cannot forget the fantastic team at the pool bar — Bayu, Mendrin, Lenia, Cok de and Lopyo! 🍹 Thank you for looking after us, keeping the drinks flowing and making our time around the pool even more enjoyable. Your friendly service and personalities were a big part of what made those lazy pool days so much fun. What really stood out to us throughout the entire resort was that everyone seemed genuinely committed to going the extra mile. It wasn’t just exceptional service from one or two people — it was the attitude of the entire team. There was always a smile, a friendly greeting and a willingness to help. We also loved meeting so many wonderful returning guests during our stay. We even met one couple who have been returning to SOL by Meliá Benoa for around 15 years — and after experiencing the resort ourselves, we completely understand why! It was lovely hearing their stories and becoming part of that little community during our stay. We are already looking forward to returning and hopefully catching up with some of the people we met this time around. If you’re considering staying at SOL by Meliá Benoa, don’t hesitate — book it! The combination of the beautiful resort, excellent food and drinks, fantastic All Inclusive experience and, most importantly, the wonderful people who work there makes this somewhere very special. A massive thank you to Vina and the entire SOL by Meliá Benoa team for giving us such a memorable anniversary holiday. You made us feel welcomed, relaxed and genuinely valued as guests. Excellent family stay with an unexpected upgrade and amazing staff!We stayed at Sol Benoa Bali with our family, including three adult children, and had an excellent experience. We arrived exhausted after a busy few days of touring, and the hotel kindly offered us a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a wonderful surprise. The food was great, the cleanliness was spot on, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the pool and the beach. A special mention to Dwiki, Padma, and the entire team, who are incredibly attentive to all guests. It was the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!
