Vila Shanti

Quaint resort, old school. I really enjoyed my stay. Had room 19 in front room to the beach and pool, upstairs. Very quiet. Great sleep quality, comfy bed and pillows. Everything working and functional in the room. My room was spotless. No mould or smell. Air-conditioning worked well. Lovely outdoor seating area. Breakfast basic No pool service for drinks or snacks. Pool has full sun all day. Sun lounges are free cost to use on beach. Very handy position, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars. Book directly only. Will not take bookings through third parties, Agoda ect

A great little resort with everything you need. Nice clean room with walk in shower, good breakfast with egg cooks to make your eggs anyway you like, bacon on request, a couple of Asian dishes each morning and fresh fruit. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice pool, sun loungers around the pool and on the beach. This resort is in a fantastic position, everything you could want is close by. This is my second stay and will not be the last.

Booked a superior room none on ground floor I'm told had to accept smallroom. Day 3 room boys were having Monday itis no water or toilet paper restock had to ask for bed cover to be replaced as it was falling apart.

Booked and paid for a Superior Room directly with the hotel (confirmed in my reservation confirmation email from them) See photos for difference between a Superior and Standard Room When I pointed out that was given a Standard Room (see photo of room 12A which was what was given) and requested a partial refund for the price differential, I was given the nonsensical reply that the room was a Superior Room - and then did not respond to my follow up emails at all Completely dishonest and misleading establishment!

This hotel has to have the best location to the beach at Sanur but that’s where the positive ends. I booked a superior room with twin beds and ground floor more than 3 months to arrival. I was given a very dark room on the first floor that had no proper beds. The beds were a base and 2 mattress toppers on them. They were so uncomfortable. Asked to be changed to a lighter room with proper beds and ground floor and was told there was nothing available. Moved to another room with the same beds. I advised that I had had a hip replacement and the bed had no comfort. The staff really didn’t care. After another 2 nights on this uncomfortable bed I asked again to be moved to anything with a proper bed. There were rooms on the ground floor with proper beds and they reluctantly moved us to one of these rooms. This room was much better with the beds but so much worse in other ways. The smell coming from the bathroom made me dry wretch and I had to go and buy my own cleaning products to try and make it a bit better. Toilet was awful and didn’t flush sometimes. The inside of the bar fridge was falling off.
