Barcelo Corralejo Bay

We have just returned home after our amazing 2 week AI holiday , I cannot fault it in any way all staff so friendly and nothing is to much trouble the attention to detail is above and beyond, we had a lovely room overlooking the pool, we can’t wait to return

My husband and I spent a two week holiday, on a half board basis, at the Barcelo Correlejo Bay Hotel. A beautiful hotel with excellent service from very polite and obliging staff. A special mention to Francisca, behind the evening bar, and Emo in the dining room. Both ladies were very friendly and engaging and made us feel very welcome. The food was lovely and we enjoyed eating outside in the little courtyard garden. I thought that the drinks were very reasonably priced. The only thing, which was off putting was that our room was above the lounge, where singing entertainment was a nightly event and very loud. A minor discomfort and not a matter for complaint. Overall, this hotel was very comfortable and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

We have just arrived back from our 17 day trip here. This hotel is well loved by many as we found out whilst we were there. Staff are super - friendly, helpful, work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Delux standard room was lovely with a welcome note on arrival and a bottle of cava and 2 chocolates to start our holiday. We were All-Inclusive, food was very good, in the evening there is a different theme everyday, so lovely variety. We ate too much of course! In the evenings there is live music from around 9:30 until 11:00, it can be very warm so I bought a fan to help keep cool. Most of the people performing are very good and some are fantastic. One night we did walk away as it was not a success. The bar staff work hard and take the time to make super cocktails. I wish we could name a few but there are too many names. Only negative is that lots of people run to the sunbeds and put their towels on them and then disappear for most of the day and I think that is really selfish because there are those who want to make use of them. I heard if you report it to the person sitting with the towels by the swimming pools or to the relations manager then they will remove it for you. It's close to the shops, restaurants and the harbor, so walking is not far. Can't seem to download our photo's om my computer to place here.

A fantastic stay in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The hotel itself has everything needed for a relaxing break. The swimming pool area is lovely, the gym is very good, and the spa facilities are definitely a must — incredibly relaxing and a real highlight of the stay. The jacuzzi on the terrace was also a great touch. Everything throughout the hotel was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day with complimentary water provided. The air conditioning in the room worked brilliantly, which was very welcome in the heat. The internal and external gardens are beautiful and really add to the relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. There are plenty of activities throughout the day, along with live entertainment in the evenings, so there is always something going on. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and the cocktails were amazing. Every member of staff encountered throughout the stay was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only small negative was that the outdoor waterfall wasn’t working during the visit, which was a shame as it would have added even more to the surroundings. Overall, it has been a great stay. Beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, lovely staff and a fantastic location. Would happily stay again.

The Barcelo Corralejo Bay Hotel was recommended to us by some friends who had stayed there numerous times, upon arriving we were greeted by the most beautiful reception area filled with stunning flowers on a huge glass table, unfortunately our room wasn't ready so we left our cases in a room and headed to the pool bar for some food. When we eventually got to our room we were delighted with the layout and the spaciousness ( we only had a Standard Double) but it was more than enough for our needs after all you don'y go on holiday to stay in your room. The food was extremely good in the restaurant and anyone who said there was nothing they liked must be extremely fussy, there a huge variety to choose from plus fresh salad and fruit, everything you could wish for. Entertainment was first class and there was only one act which we weren't so keen on. One thing we did find strange was the fact that you had to queue for the sunbeds on a morning which meant there was a huge scramble when the opened the barriers, other hotels we have stayed in have a system whereby the sunbed you select is yours for the duration of the holiday which I think is a much better idea. All in all a fantastic stay so much so we have booked again for next year (our 40th Wedding Anniversary)
