Nice location in quieter area but still has local shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely coastal walk into Caleta de Fuste which has nice beach, cafes, shops and plenty to see and do. Highly recommend La Perlita overlooking the beach in Caleta de Fuste, great views, very friendly, really good atmosphere and provides great food and wide range of drinks. Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and rooms are decent size with nice balcony, although a little dated. Hardly spent anytime in room so not a big deal as functional and clean. Evening entertainment is limited and despite noise levels being high most nights once the balcony door was closed hardly noticed it. Slept okay despite temperature and no aircon. Food options can be quite random, not particularly exciting or really exploring local cuisine but always had something we could eat but please bear in mind limited options for vegetarians. Pool area is great and where most people spent most of their time both during the day and in the evening. All in all great week away.

We booked an AI room without air conditioning which was spacious with a separate bedroom and balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was lovely, large and very cold with plenty of sun beds but not enough umbrellas. Food was fine with enough choice to always find something you like at all meal times. we found staff to be polite but that the tables were not cleared very quickly so it became normal for guests to clear their own tables. The drinks machines in the restaurant and the pool bar constantly stopped working and there didn't appear to be enough staff to keep them working/filled. The pool bar, on occasion, had no one serving as supplies were needed and they went to get them. The token or empty plastic cup needed in order to get a drink was annoying but you soon got used to it and it meant that there weren't any cups left about the place. The entertainment wasn't for us as most nights it was karaoke and we chose not to join in the darts, pool and aqua gym during the day. The location is quite remote and quiet with very few bars/shops nearby. About a 40 minute walk along the coast into Fuste. Loved seeing the squirrels on the cliffs.

Went here for a week in mid October. The weather was fantastic. Booked an easyjet holiday deal from Belfast . The flights , transfers and hotel were all fine. We were all inclusive at the hotel and found the food and drink to be more than acceptable. Being a 3 star and reading some of the reviews I didn’t have high expectations. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and choice of food . The staff were all very helpful and courteous . We had a superior double which had air conditioning, a modern bathroom and comfortable beds . I’m more than pleased with the value for money . The location is quiet and the nearest town / beach is a 40 minute walk along the coastal pathway . The atmosphere and activities around the pool and bar were very good.
